About JNAFAUJawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University (JNAFAU) is an architecture and fine arts university established in 1940 as the College of Fine Arts. This university is located at Masab Tank, Hyderabad in Telangana. It has two colleges - School of Planning and Architecture, College of Fine Arts which offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. research programs. School Of Planning & Architecture offers courses such as Architecture, Facilities and Services Planning, Digital Techniques for Design & Planning, Interior Designing, Planning, etc. College of Fine Arts offers courses such as Applied Arts, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Animation, etc.

Eligibility criteriaCandidates who have completed Intermediate or equivalent can apply for these undergraduate courses in Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University, Hyderabad.
Application processInterested and eligible candidates are requested to apply online from the official website The last date for online application and fee payment without late fee is 15th June 2019 and with late fee of Rs. 3000/- is 22nd June 2019. Candidates have to pay the registration fee of Rs 12,00/- (Rs. 600/- for SC/ ST candidates) online ifself hrough credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Offline applications are not accepted.
Selection procedure and FADEE Exam detailsSelection of candidates for admission will be done based on their performance in the Fine Arts and Design Entrance Examination (FADEE) which will be conducted at JNAFA, Hyderabad. Candidates applying for various courses have to appear for the following papers:
Paper A (Memory Drawing and Coloring) for 100 marks: 90 minutes: In this candidates memory drawing and coloring skills, handling of color pencils, choice of color scheme, application methods, composition sense and perspective of the landscape are tested. In this candidate have to draw from memory like the bus stop, railway station, roadside vendors, vegetable market fruit market, etc. 1/4 size of crystal drawing paper sheet will be given and only color pencils are allowed. Watercolors and others are not allowed.
Paper B (Objective type paper) for 50 marks: 50 minutes: This paper will consist of 50 multiple choice questions as follows:
Paper C (Object drawing) for 100 marks: 90 minutes: In this, a single object will be placed in front of the candidates and they have to draw and render it in pencils, without the use of a ruler or any other mechanical devices. In this candidate drawing skills, composition sense, understanding of the form, surface texture and volume of the object, ability to create a 3 D effect on a 2D surface will be tested. 1/4 size of crystal drawing paper sheet will be given.
Paper D (Composition and Visual Communication) for 100 marks: 90 minutes: This paper consists of the following 3 parts:
Paper E (Objective type paper) for 50 marks: 50 minutes: This paper consists of 50 multiple choice questions as follows:
Paper F for 200 marks: 180 minutes: This paper consists of the following 6 parts:
