How to register online for Mumbai University F.Y. degree colleges admissions 2019

Now that the H.S.C. Class 12 Maharashtra State Board exam results have been declared, students can apply for admission to the next academic class, which is the first year of an undergraduate Degree course at colleges in Maharashtra. Obtain your H.S.C. exam results' mark sheet from your junior college, which should be available within a week at the college. Then it is mandatory for all students to register for the Mumbai University pre-admission process which is done online before taking admission at the college for the first year (F.Y.) degree course.

The Admission process is for F.Y.B.A., F.Y. B.Sc., F.Y.B.Com., management-related and vocational courses for the academic year 2019-2020. The list is as follows-

Basic guidelines for Mumbai University degree colleges admissions

As part of the pre-admission process, first you need to fill up the registration form at the official website of the University of Mumbai from 29th May 2019. You require a valid email ID and mobile phone number for this. Once you register, you will receive a username and password via email and via SMS on your mobile phone.

Next, log in and fill in the relevant details, such as the address, contact number, etc. along with your educational qualification and marks. You will also be required to upload a scanned image of your recent photograph and of your signature.

Once this is done, you can select your first your course of choice and the college which is offering that course. Upload the relevant scanned documents required to be attached with the application. Make a final check that all the information has been entered correctly and the relevant documents have been attached before the final submission.

Immediately take a print out of the submitted form and attach the required documents with it. In fact, you could take an extra print out in case you require it later. Submit the print out of the online pre-admission enrollment form at the college, along with that college's individual admission form which is to bought separately.

When the merit list is released by the college, you must provide the originals of the documents which you had uploaded and then pay the requisite fees for getting admission to the college.

Note: For some colleges, after the University pre-admission online registration, you can apply for the admission online itself through the college website.

Important points to know

  • You need to submit your mark sheets of both Class 10 and Class 12 during the online registration process.
  • You must attach a printout of the pre-admission form (that is, the online Mumbai University registration form) when you submit an application physically at a college. For every application, you need to submit this pre-admission form.


Important Dates

The complete schedule of the admission process for University of Mumbai-affiliated colleges is as follows-
  1. Admission forms will be on sale at the college from 29th May 2019 to 7th June 2019 on all working days.
  2. Registration and submission of the University pre-admission online form can be from 29th May 2019 to 10th June 2019.
  3. Submit your admission form along with printed copy of pre-enrollment form (which is mandatory): 7th June to 13th June 2019 up to 12 noon on all working days. In-house admission and minority quota admission will be done during these same dates.
  4. The first merit list will be published on 13th June 2019 at 5 p.m.
  5. Verification of documents: 14th June 2019.
  6. Payment of college fees 15th June 2019 (Saturday) and 17th June 2019 (Monday) up to 4.30 PM. on all working days.
  7. Payment of fees: 13th to 15th June 2019.
  8. Second merit list will be released on: 17th June 2019, 5:00 PM.
  9. Verification of documents: 18th June 2019 .
  10. Payment of fees: 18th June and 20th June 2019 up to 4.30 PM. on all working days.
  11. Third and final merit list will be released on: 20th June 2019.
  12. Verification of documents: 21st June 2019.
  13. Payment of fees: 21st June and to 24th June 2019 up to 5:00 PM


Re-verification and re-evaluation of H.S.C. exam marks

On getting your H.S.C. marks, if you feel that there may be some error of the marks, you can apply for a re-verification between 29th May and 7th June 2019. For each subject of which verification is sought, you need to pay Rs.50. An application for photocopies can also be made from 29th May to 7th June 2019. For each subject of which verification is sought, you need to pay Rs.50.

Then, within five days of receiving the photocopy of the answer sheets, you can apply for re-evaluation of the subject.



H.S.C. re-exam

Those who did not pass the H.S.C. exam can appear for the exam again when it will be conducted in July and August. The schedule of the re-exam will be available later at the State Board's official website.
