Established in 1954 Kirori Mal College is one of the oldest colleges of Delhi University. It is one of the leading institutes which provide opportunities for all academic and administrative studies. From the last six decades, this college has emerged as the best college of Delhi University.

Eligibility criteria

KMC offers undergraduate courses in Science, commerce and arts.
  • Candidates must apply online for admission in any course in Kirori Mal College
  • Applicants who have secured minimum 55% marks in 10+2 are eligible for admission to B.Sc (Hons.) course, whereas for B.Sc (Gen) course, candidates who have secured minimum 45% marks in any three out of these subjects viz. Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Computer Science.
  • For B.Com, candidates with 40% marks in 10+2 and for B.Com (Hons.), applicants with 45% in 10+2 are eligible for admission.
  • For B. A (Hons) or B.A (Gen) courses a candidate must have secured minimum 45% or above in 10+2 are eligible
  • Selection of candidates in any undergraduate course is done strictly on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam as per the rules decided by the University of Delhi.
  • University of Delhi release five cut off lists and student whose percentage of 10+2 falls in the college as per the cut off can take admission in the college.

  • Applicants who are seeking admission into any Hons. course shall pass the subject at the Advanced level.
  • Applicants who are seeking admission into Hons course in Physics/ Chemistry should have passed Mathematics at the ordinary level and anyone subject at the Advanced level.
  • The college has a total of 22.5% seats reserved for SC/ ST candidates. Out of which 15% are for SC candidates and 7.5 % for ST candidates.
  • The College provides relaxation of 5% marks is provided to the candidates of SC/ ST category.
  • If the seats reserved for SC/ ST category remains vacant after 5% of relaxation in the marks then there is a provision of providing additional relaxation in order to fill up all the vacant seats.
  • It is compulsory to fill all the seats reserved for SC/ ST candidates.
  • 27% seats of the total seats are reserved for OBC category and 3% seats are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates with 40% disability.
  • 5% seats of the total seats are reserved for candidates of children/ward of the armed forces.
