DU PG Admission Important Dates 2019

Online registration for the PG course in DU will start from around 2nd June.     DU PG Eligibility Criteria 2019

    DU has certain eligibility criteria for the admission process. Aspirants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the PG course they apply for. A candidate who doesn't meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear in the entrance exam for 2019. The DU PG eligibility criteria course wise is given in detail below:

  • Candidate must have a three/ five year LLB degree from a recognised university.
  • It is mandatory for the candidate to have 50% marks in their bachelor's, 45% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST candidate.

  • M.Com
  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in B.Com/ B.Com (Hons.)/ B.A. (Hons.) Economics from a recognised university. Final year students can also apply.
  • The minimum marks are 50 per cent for general category 45% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST candidate.

  • M.Tech
  • Candidate must have a relevant bachelor's degree either in B.Tech./B.E. Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation Engineering degree to be eligible for M.Tech admissions.
  • The minimum pass percentage required for the same is 60%

  • MCA
  • Candidate must have a three-year bachelor degree in the relevant field with at least one paper in Mathematical Sciences
  • The minimum pass percentage required by the candidate is 60%

  • M.Ed
  • Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in B.Ed/ B.El.Ed /D.El.Ed along with a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • The minimum marks required by the candidate is 50%.
  • DU PG Course General Eligibility

    There is no age limit of DU PG courses however for some course the age limit is as per prescribed by MCI, AICTE, DCI etc.

    DU PG Application Form 2019

    To apply for DU PG course the candidate must go to there official website and must click on the link "DU PG Admission Portal 2019". Below are the steps to fill DU PG admission form 2019
  • Visit the official website and log on to PG Admission Portal 2019
  • Click on the link and register with valid email ID.
  • Once the candidates have successfully registered, a confirmation link will be sent to their respective Email.
  • You can start filling the application form.
  • Once you have filled all the details you will be asked to choose the city for the exam centre.
  • You can choose three cities for exam centre and can fill them in the form.
  • Save the application and make the payment via Netbanking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.

  • DU PG Application Fee 2019

    DU application fees for general category is 500 Rs whereas for candidates from SC/ST/OBC category the fees are 250 Rs. The application fees can be paid online.

    DU PG Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2019

    DU PG Admit Card 2019

    Delhi University will release the admit card for PG admissions online. Admit cards will be released in the first week of June. The candidates are required to fill in their credentials to download the admit card. The candidates should check that their photograph must be clearly visible while taking out the print of the admit card. The candidates must carry one ID proof with the admit card in the exam centre.

    DU PG Result 2019

    The university will release the result online. Candidates will be able to check their DU PG entrance exam result along with the GD and interview results. Those candidates who qualify the result will be able to secure a seat in the college.

    DU PG Admission Reservation Criteria 2019

    DU reservation criteria for PG admission is given below:
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC) - 27%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)- 15%
  • ScheduledTribe (ST)- 7%

  • DU PG Admission Selection Procedure 2019

    There are two modes of selection in DU PG courses. However for professional courses the selection is through the entrance exam only. The two modes of admission are explained below:

    DU Admissions Through Entrance Exam:

    Out of the total seats available 50% seats are filled through the entrance exam, followed by Group discussion and personal interview.

    DU Admissions Through Merit (Direct Admission):

    The remaining 50% seats are filled on the basis of merit. DU releases cut off list and as per the list a candidate may take admission in the desired course.
