It should be noted, though, that the training program is not an indication of employment with the Board.

Indian tourism, domestic as well as foreign is going to increase in leaps and bounds as the tourism activity is on an increasing trend worldwide. People have started going out more frequently and especially during the school closing time of the children there is a big rush of tourists everywhere. In this situation, it makes sense to go for such specialised trainings for becoming a guide in one's local state. Today the job condition in our country has worsened much and even the qualified people have to make a beeline for a job. So considering this scenario any opportunity to get a job or start on ones own is welcome. In that perspective, I feel that this is a good course and those who have not much interest in pursuing higher education can consider this as a career option. With gaining experience and attaining the historical knowledge about the tourist places, one can definitely do well in this line.
