Overview K.C. Mahindra Education Trust is a public charitable trust established to promote literacy and encourage higher studies by providing financial assistance and scholarships for students from low-income families as also other disadvantaged students. The Trust has announced scholarships for students who have got admission this year (in 2019) in a Government or a Government-recognized Polytechnic institution for Diploma courses. These are annual Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships (known as MAITS) which are awarded to deserving students who have passed their Class 10 or Class 12 exams and have secured the admission to the institute. The aim is to provide financial aid to them to pursue a job-oriented course which will enable them to get employment opportunities on successful completion of the course.
Amount The Trust awards the scholarship of Rs.10,000/- per year, up to a maximum of three years. A total of 550 needy and deserving students can avail of this scholarship.
Eligibility requirements You should have completed Std. X and/or Std. XII from a recognized school/college and passed the SSC/HSC exam. Additionally, you should have secured more than 60% marks in the Board exams. Preference will be given to –

Important note: If you have not secured admission, then you will not be called for the final interview. Hence, it is imperative that you submit a copy of the admission letter as soon as you secure admission.

After getting the scholarshipIf you are shortlisted for the scholarship, you will be sent an intimation of the date and the venue for the personal interview. The cost of the travel to the interview centre will be paid, to a certain extent.
