About Hindustan Copper limited
HCL or Hindustan Copper Limited is a public sector enterprise dealing with copper mining and production. It comes directly under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Set up in 1967, the company these days produces and markets copper cathodes, copper wire bar, continuous cast copper rods, copper sulphate as well as sulphuric acid. The company has mines and plants that are spread across different states in the country such as Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
The present requirement for apprentices is for its Taloja Copper Project at Navi Mumbai in Raigarh district of Maharashtra. Continuous Cast Copper Rods are manufactured at this plant. The plant was set up in 1989 with technology from world-renowned Southwire Co. of USA

Hindustan Copper Limited a leading company in the field of copper mining and production has advertised for apprentice training in two trades, Fitter and Electrician. Candidates having requisite qualification are to apply for the same as per the format given in the Notice cum Application Form. The duration of the apprentice training is for a period of one year. The vacancies are at its Copper Project at Taloja in Raigarh district of Maharashtra.

Trade – Electrician Age limit
As on 1st July 2019, the candidate's age should not cross more than 25 years. However, for SC/ST candidates, the age is relaxable by 5 years and for non-creamy layer OBC candidates, 3 years. For physically disabled candidates the age relaxation is 10 years. SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates need to submit duly certified category certificates along with their application form.Candidates passed prior to 2017
Even though these vacancies are primarily meant for current passed out students, those who have passed prior to 2017 too may apply. For this, they need to submit an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper attested by a magistrate or notary public certifying that neither any apprenticeship or employment has been availed by the candidate during the said period.How to apply
Prior to applying for the vacancies, the candidates first need to register themselves at the apprenticeship training portal at www.apprenticeship.gov.in. The registration slip that gets generated need to be submitted along with the application form.
Fill in the application form, as given in the format along with copies of relevant certificates and documents are to be sent by post at the address given below within the due date. Applications that are incomplete or incorrectly filled will get rejected. The documents that need to be submitted along with the application are - true copies of mark sheet, pass certificate and date of birth testimonial. Selections for the apprenticeship will be done through a written test. Candidates qualifying the same will be only considered for appointment.Period of engagement and stipend
The duration of the apprenticeship is for a period of one year. Beyond that period, Hindustan Copper Limited will be under no obligation to offer employment to any of the candidates. At the end of the period of engagement, the apprenticeship automatically gets terminated.
