For the eligible candidates who have already done ITI in Fitter trade or ITI in Electrician trade, doing this apprenticeship will increase the chances of getting jobs in the industry (including in Hindustan Copper). For the eligible candidates, it should prove as a boon accepting the apprentice training in the trades mentioned above. There was an indication that one is not likely to get benefits in terms of permanent employment with the completion of training in the fitter trade or the electrician trade for the IIT passed out candidates but the performance of each one is continuously monitored and they maintain a record of performance for each candidate. Any vacancy to come up in the trades as mentioned above are to be filled up with the best performers, though the same is not indicated here.
HCL is a government of India undertaking and pioneer in the field of production of copper and hence is a better platform to receive training.
