KMAT(Kerala Management Admission Test) Kerala Entrance Examination for admission to MBA course 2020 conducted by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) under the guidance of Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC). will be held on 1st December 2020. If you are planning to take MBA admissions 2020 in Kerala, then you need to qualify the entrance tests like CAT, CMAT and KMAT Kerala. The details of this exam are mentioned below.

Is there any age limit?

There is no age limit for this KMAT examination.

Eligibility

Any graduate students who have secured a minimum of 50% are eligible to apply for this exam. But SC/ST candidates need only 40% marks. Also, candidates studying in their final year degree class can apply for the KMAT Kerala 2020 exams. Students having a valid score in CMAT or CAT are also eligible to apply for this exam.

Is there any application fees?

Yes, the application fees for each category are mentioned below.
  • General candidates: Rs 1000/-
  • SC/ST candidates: Rs 750/-

How to pay the application fees?

You can pay the application fees online only, using Net banking, credit and debit cards. Payments won't be accepted in offline mode. In case there is a failure in the payment process, you will be asked to make the payment once again. After you have done the payment successfully, then you can print a receipt for future reference.

Note: After filling the online application form and submitting it, you can take a print out of the fully filled application form for future purposes.

Selection process

Candidates need to attend a paper-based exam (offline) where the pattern for the exam will be multiple-choice questions that consist of sections like English language, Data Sufficiency, and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge. There will be 180 questions and the duration of the exam will be 2.5 hours. Note: For every correct answer, there will be 4 marks while minus one will be given for every wrong answer. The minimum cut off marks for each category are 108 for General category candidates, 72 for SEBC, and 54 for SC/ST candidates.

Those who have qualified the written exams based on the criteria mentioned will be called for a group discussion and personal interview. The final list of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance at written test, group discussion as well as personal interview. The shortlisted candidates will be further called for counselling for allotting seats.

KMAT 2020 exam centers

The exam centers will be Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kerala, Mangalore and U.T of Lakshadweep. While submitting the online form, you can opt for 3 exam centers.

Where to get admit cards?

Admit cards are available online in the KMAT website and you can download it using the application number and password. You need to check the website to know the date of downloading admit cards.
