Summary

Jang Man Wol was punished for her sins which she committed 1300 years ago for being a murderer by the Deity named Mago who has many forms of appearances. The punishment was to run a guest house for ghosts. The guest house was originally named as Guesthouse of Moon before Man Wol's ownership. Currently, it is known as Hotel Del Luna. The hotel locates wherever Jang Man Wol goes. Which means she is stuck with the Hotel. She can't deny it or escape from it. There is a Moon tree which is a dried-up tree without leaves situates at the center of the hotel which represents none other than Jang Man Wol's life. She is a greedy, cold and suspicious soul yet a reasonable and practical one. For the establishment of the hotel, she appoints human general managers so that she can deal with human money from the real world. When years pass, deities plan for Jang Man Wol to send her peacefully to the afterlife through a new human general manager Ku Chan Seong.

When Ku Chan Seong shows up, things take an interesting turn in the series. He was a normal human being who needs to be the general manager of the Hotel Del Luna due to his father's promise to Jang Man Wol. When he refuses, Man Wol gives him a special gift for his birthday. A gift of vision to see ghosts all around him. So that the only place he can work in becomes the ghost hotel. Anyway, he adapts with his new ability sooner and everyone loves Chan Seong. Eventually, Man Wol falls in love with the General Manager as per deities' plan. Thus, the old and dead Moon tree regenerated with leaves and flowers. Ku Chan Seong leads Man Wol to her worst nightmares from the past. The people who are murdered because of her and murdered by her. Chan Seong helps her to get rid of her inner grudge and resentments. My Take On The Series

I really enjoyed watching the series. Jang Man Wol's back story was the major attraction of the story in my point of view which took my imagination to another level. Hong sisters did a wonderful job writing the storyline with a lot of humour intake. The character named Jang Man Wol was a badass. She overpowered with confidence. And for that last episode, there was a hidden surprise treat for all the audience. A cameo entry of a well-known actor in the Korean industry. Hence wishing for a sequel.
