2019 CIDCO Mass Housing Scheme Lottery – where and how to apply online guide


Looking for information on the CIDCO mass housing lottery draw for low-cost homes in Taloja, Ghansoli, and other places? This article provides complete information on the flats available for purchase through the special 2019 CIDCO Mass Housing Scheme lottery.

In addition to the Swapnapurti Kharghar housing scheme lottery, City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd (CIDCO) is conducting a lucky draw for EWS and LIG buyers to purchase low-cost homes in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. Only one application can be submitted per individual.

Who can apply

Age criteria: The applicant should not minimum 18 years of age.

Domicile requirement: The applicant must have an official valid Domicile Certificate to indicate that the applicant has been residing in the State of Maharashtra for at least 15 years. (Central Government employees are exempt to this rule). Those applying under the PMYA scheme should read the conditions of eligibility for them in the information bulletin.

Income eligibility: The annual family income of the applicant in the EWS category (1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019 financial year to be considered) should be up to Rs.3,00,000/- or monthly it should be up to Rs.25,000/-.

The annual family income of the applicant in the LIG category (1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019 financial year to be considered) should be between Rs.3,00,001/- to Rs.6,00,000/- or monthly it should be between Rs.25,001/- up to Rs.50,000/-.

How to apply

Register for the mass housing lottery at the official CIDCO website with a username and password. Already registered users can simply log in with their username and password. Keep ready the following documents scanned for uploading during the online application:
  1. The applicant's passport size photograph in JPEG format (this should be between 5 KB to 50 KB in size).

  2. The applicant's PAN Card (this should be between 5 KB to 300 KB in size).

  3. The applicant's Aadhaar Card (this should be between 5 KB to 300 KB in size).

  4. A cancelled cheque or the first page of Pass Book (this should be between 5 KB to 300 KB in size) of the applicant's Bank. This is required to verify the Bank account number.

Also required are the following information to be filled in the online application –
  • The applicant's date of Birth.

  • The applicant's residence address and postal Pincode.

  • The applicant's personal contact number, home contact number, office contact number, email ID, etc.

  • The applicant's PAN Card number and Aadhaar Card number.

  • Make sure that you select the correct Scheme Code number. If you so wish, you can apply for the scheme under PMAY, for which the Aadhar card number will need to be entered. You are also permitted to add a co-applicant, such as your spouse, thus applying for the scheme jointly.

  • On successful completion of filling up the online application click on the 'submit' button. You should then re-check that all the information which you have given is correct. If everything is fine, proceed to click on the 'confirm' button. If you so wish, you can also fill up the Feedback form (this is not mandatory and you can use the 'skip' button if you do not wish to fill it up). Then take a printout of the acknowledgement. Next, proceed to pay the EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) amount online. This payment can be done via Internet Banking or NEFT/RTGS.

    4. RTGS/NEFT Challan Generation: 17th September 2019 to 4th November 2019, up to 7p.m.

    6. Draft list of accepted applications: 15th November 2019, at 6p.m.
