How to write a letter to Bank to reactivate the bank account
Bank rules often changing and account holder may not know the latest update sometime. Your saving or current account would have suspended by then bank due to no transaction for some time (or above six months). In this article, you will know how to write a letter to bank to reactivate your account to continue to transact with the bank. Here find the sample format.
We may sometime receive the SMS or email or letter or a different notification from the Bank that our banking account has suspended due to inoperative for a long duration. The Bank sends it due to various reasons and one of them that they would like to know the status from you on the bank transaction and updates, or to close the account permanently in case if there is no response from the concern for a long time.

We ignore the message from the Bank due to a different commitment or no time to follow up with them. When we need the same Bank account for the transaction, we come to know that our account is suspended / dormant temporary due to no transaction for a long duration. So, unable to deposit or withdraw etc.
In such case, how to reactivate the Bank account? The only few method is, approach the bank, fill the Bank form with required documents to reactivate it or write a letter to bank with their form and required credential to reactivate the account for future transaction.

I am (Bank account holder's name [or guardian's name in case it is a minor account]), have opened the Saving / Current account in your bank with the account number (mention the a/c number).
You are requested to please reactivate my Savings / Current Account number (XXXX) as I was unable to transact with your bank for a particular duration for which your Bank have suspended my account. I missed the latest updates and guideline from your Bank as well.
I request your Bank to kindly reactivate my account so that I can continuously transact the same and follow the standard procedure.
I hereby attached the Passbook and other required documents to activate it and print-out the latest statement.

Also, let me know if there is any assistance from you for renewal of my Debit card (expired) in case. It will be appreciated if you could provide me a User ID and Password for mobile or internet banking / transaction etc.
