About NEET-PG 2020
National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Post Graduate) NEET-PG is a single entrance exam for admission to various MD/ MS and Post Graduate Diploma courses in India. NEET-PG is a qualifying cum ranking exam, which is mandatory even for foreign nationals seeking admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in India. NEET-PG is conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). NBE was established by the Government of India in 1975 with the objective of improving the quality of medical education by conducting the entrance examinations of a high standard. Entrance examinations conducted by the NBE on all India basis are FMGE, NEET-PG, NEET-SS, NEET-MDS, DNB-PDCET and Fellowship Entrance Test.

There will be no separate entrance exam for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses either at the state or institute level. Below is the list of institutions which are not covered by the centralized admissions for MD, MS seats through NEET-PG 2020:NEET-PG 2020 Exam pattern
NEET-PG 2020 exam comprises of 300 multiple choice questions delivered on the computer-based platform. The duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. The question paper consists of 3 parts - Part A, Part B, and Part C each consists of 50, 100, 150 questions respectively. For each correct answer, 4 marks will be added and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. The syllabus for NEET-PG shall comprise of subjects as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by MCI. Subject-wise distribution of questions in 3 parts is as follows:

Candidates aspiring to get admission to the MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by MCI or State Medical Council and have completed 1 year of internship or who are likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March 2019 can apply.
For Foreign Medical Graduates
Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have fulfilled the primary qualifications from medical colleges outside India should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test. They should have been registered with MCI/ SMC. And should have completed their internship or likely to complete on or before 31st March 2020.
For Foreign Nationals
Foreign national must have duly registered with appropriate registering authority in his/her own country and is duly recognized by the corresponding authority. It is not mandatory to have temporary registration with MCI for foreign nationals at the time of writing NEET-PG. MCI may grant temporary registration for the duration of the PG course limited to the college to which the candidate is admitted.Application process
Interested and eligible candidates willing to apply for NEET-PG 2020 can apply online at the official website from 1st November 2019. The last date to apply is 21st November 2019. Candidates need to pay the exam fee of Rs. 3750 (for general/ OBC candidates) and Rs. 2750/- (for SC/ ST/ PwD (PH) candidates) through credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. At the time of application, candidates can choose the city in which they want to write the exam. Allotment of the test centre will be done on the first-cum-first-serve basis.Important dates to remember
