About GPAT 2020
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2020 is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by National Test Agency (NTA) for admission to M.Pharmacy or its equivalent programs across the country for the academic year 2020-21. NTA is an autonomous organization under the Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India which conducts national level tests. GPAT 2020 score will be accepted by over 800 participating institutions. Candidates have to apply separately for the desired participating institute with the GPAT score. Each participating institute will release the respective cut-off GPAT score and will have their own admission process, which may consist of Group discussion and/or interview.GPAT 2020 Test pattern
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2020 consists of 125 objective type questions. Each question carries 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Questions will be from subjects: Physical Chemistry, Physical Pharmacy, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pathophysiology, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence, Dispensing and Hospital Pharmacy.Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for GPAT 2020 have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:Application process
Interested and eligible candidates willing to apply for GPAT 2020 exam can apply online at the official website 1st November 2019. Candidates need to note down the system generated application number after completing the application. Candidates need to upload the scanned images of their passport size photogra[h and signature. And candidates have to make the application fee payment through credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI/ Paytm and should keep the proof of the payment. And candidates need to choose the city where they want to take the exam. Allotment of the city for the examination will be done on the first-cum-first-serve basis.
