Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management was established in the year 1995 and it has emerged as one of the top B-Schools in India. The campus of LBSIM is located at Dwaraka, New Delhi. This institute was duly recognized by AICTE, MHRD, Government of India. It offers excellent infrastructural facilities like fully air-conditioned classrooms, a huge library, auditoriums with a capacity of 300 people, open-air theatre, etc. It offers 2-year full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management programs, 3 years part-time PGDM program, 15-month full-time PGDM (Executive) program and 3-year full-time Masters in a Computer Application program.

Admissions 2020

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), Delhi has announced admissions into the following two-year full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management programs for the academic year 2020 - 21:

  1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (General)
  2. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance)
  3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Research and Business Analytics)
  4. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)

Eligibility criteria

Candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to apply for PGDM programs at LBSIM:

  • Candidates who have completed graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university can apply.
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the year 2020 can also apply. The last date for submission of the certificate and the mark sheet is 15th December 2020.
  • Candidates should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 exam conducted by the IIMs on 24th November 2019 or should have a valid Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score ina test taken between 1st October 2019 to 15th January 2020.
  • Foreign Students, PIO, and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible to apply. These candidates are required to take the GMAT between 1st October 2019 and 15th January 2020 at the test center outside India.

Selection process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their prior academic performance, work experience, CAT/ GMAT scores and other information mentioned in the application form. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the institute's website and will also be displayed on the institute's notice board.

WAT, GD, and PI will be conducted at the following centres - Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates can select one test centre at the time of application.

Program fee details

Fee for PGDM programs at LBSIM, Delhi is as follows:
For first year:
General Category: Rs. 4,25, 250/- (Installment 1), Rs. 2,47,250/- (Installment 2)
Corporate Sponsored: Rs. 5,97, 350/- (Installment 1), Rs. 3,47, 250 (Installment 2)

For second year:
General Category: Rs. 2,47,250/- (Installment 3), Rs. 3,47,250/- (Installment 4)
Corporate Caregory: Rs. 2,47,250/- (Installment 3), Rs. 3,47,250/- (Installment 4)

Application procedure

Candidates can apply in two modes - Online and Offline. In online mode candidates can apply through institute's official website, by paying the application fee of Rs. 1250/- through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Candidates willing to apply in offline mode can obtain the application form from the admissions coordinator, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi on all working days from 10 am to 5 pm on payment of application fees of Rs. 1250/- in cash or by DD. Candidates have to send the completed application forms to the below address.
