About Christ UniversityChrist (Deemed to be University) is an institution set up under the management of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first Catholic indigenous congregation by St Kuriakose Elias Chavara. Christ University was established in the year 1969. Formerly this university was referred to as Christ College, an autonomous college affiliated to Bangalore University. In 2008, the human resource development of the government of India declared this institution as Deemed to be University, by the name Christ University. Christ is a multi-disciplinary University. This university offers undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses in various disciplines such as Languages, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Law, Commerce, and Management. Christ also offers Doctoral Programmes (PhD) and M.Phil programmes.
Interdisciplinary Master's Programme admissions 2020Interdisciplinary Masters Programme in Christ is trimester-wise. This masters programme has twelve core courses and six open electives. Each course will earn four credits. Students have to complete core courses and elective courses within the maximum duration of the program.
Christ University now invites applications for admission to Interdisciplinary master's degree programmes for January 2020 batch. The classes will begin on 2nd January 2020.

Eligibility criteriaApplicants who are interested to apply for M.Sc in Data Analytics must possess an undergraduate degree from any recognised university in Science or Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
Applicants who are willing to apply for M.Sc in Developmental Studies, M.A in Economics, M.A in Strategic Management and M.Sc in Behavioural Science requires an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution.
Duration of the courseThe duration of all the master degree courses is two years. Students will get a maximum of 4 years duration with one-year extension upon payment of an extension fee.

Admission processThe results of the selection will be published on the university official website. Applicants will get an offer letter first. Selected applicants should download the offer letter of admission from the official website. The offer letter will contain the name of the campus at which the candidates should attend the personal interview. The applicants must pay the first year course fee along with registration fees online. The candidates should bring the original certificates and photocopies of the prescribed documents at the time of admission.
