Jiwaji University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is a NAAC accredited 'A Grade' University in India. The university came into existence in the year 23 May 1964. For February - August 2020 batch, the University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the following courses.

Eligibility and Course duration

  • Diploma courses in French and English : Candidates with Certificate in French and English language are eligible to apply for the diploma courses.
  • Certificate courses in French and English : Candidates who have passed Class 12(Higher Secondary Certificate Examination) are eligible to apply for Certificate courses in French and English offered by Jiwaji University




Note: This is a part-time course mainly meant for increasing your proficiency in using the above-mentioned languages. So candidates who are perusing regular studies in any institutions located in Gwalior or doing a regular service can apply for this Certificate courses. But make sure that the timings of your regular studies/service should not clash with the course timings. Candidates who are doing regular service are also eligible to join these certificate courses but they should produce a 'No Objection Certificate' from their respective offices.

The hard copy of the application form along with the above-mentioned documents should be submitted in the office of Bhasha Adhyayan Kendra(Department of Languages) on or before the last date mentioned below.

  • Start date of online notification: 14 January 2020
  • Last date for filling up the online application form: 14 February 2020
  • Date and time for counselling: 19 February 2020, starting 12:00 PM onward


Counselling venue: The counselling venue will be Bhasha Adhyayan Kendra(Department of Languages). Also, don't forget to bring your original documents on the counselling day for verification.
