About INSA- JRD TATA FellowshipIndian National Science Academy (INSA) is a premiere organization working extensively in the field of Science and Technology. This organization was established in 1935 by the joints efforts of several organizations and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). INSA has started INSA JRD -TATA Fellowship managed by CICS in honor of industrialist JRD Tata. The main aim of the fellowship is to provide opportunities to researchers of developing countries except India to work at an Indian research laboratory and to promote south-south co-operation.
Number of fellowshipsThere will about ten numbers of fellowships.
Duration of fellowshipFellowship will be granted for a period of three months.
Eligibility CriteriaResearchers from developing countries other than Indians are eligible to apply for the fellowship. Also the applicant must have valid passport.
Note: Applicants must have the aptitude for research and willing of working in an Indian research laboratory
Educational QualificationApplicants must have a Doctorate or Master´s Degree in Science or equivalent degree in Engineering/Medicine and allied disciplines.
AgeApplicant having age below 45 years may apply for fellowship.
