How I spend my time after school hours
In this article, I have explained my routine during the evening time. After I come back from school, I spend time in a valuable way. I follow a routine every day so that I can accomplish the tasks that are required. I enjoy my time after school hours.
When I return home from school, I wash my hands and legs after removing shoes and socks. Then, I comfortably sit down on the couch for some time. I feel tired because I travel for an hour daily. Then, my mom calls me inside and serves me warm milk along with light snacks such as biscuits, brownies, or any other sweets from the sweet mart. Sometimes, she also serves me parched rice, upma or any light snack. I enjoy eating every morsel of food because I feel tired when I return. In the school, we continuously write down notes, recite the lessons and perform physical exercises as instructed by our mentor. After eating, I go to the playground with my friends. At the playground
Then I go to the playground situated near my house. I play badminton with my friend and I take the racket and a shuttlecock with me. When I strike the shuttle, the shuttle moves upwards and my friends try to catch it. I love observing the position of the shuttlecock when we play. After playing, we sit down together on a bench and talk to each other. We usually talk about teachers and friends in school. As a student, I sometimes experience problems with my teachers and classmates. I discuss these issues with my friends and I feel relaxed. My friends also discuss their problems with me and hence we try to find a solution to our problems. Our mothers come to the playground and instruct us to return home. Then, we wish 'goodbye' to each other and return home. On returning home
I open my calendar when I go home to check the homework that is assigned to us. Then, I do my homework and then plan to study. I have prepared a time-table that I strictly follow. Usually, I study one subject in a day. Then, I loudly read out the answers so that I can easily remember them. My father always tells me that we can memorize any subject by visualization and hearing. When we recite, we can hear our voice and this voice is a form of vibration in the body. I am studying in fourth grade now and have planned to join a dance class next year.
When I finish studying, then I go to the ritual room and pray to Almighty God. When I enter our ritual room, I am relaxed because it is a serene place. From my childhood, I was taught different shlokas, and I chant them with great devotion. I feel the power of cosmic rays in me and feel positive. I sing different songs addressing to Lords as I was always taught to thank the Supreme power who brought me into this beautiful world.
Then, at 9.00 pm, we sit on the table to eat food. We enjoy every morsel of food that is deliciously prepared by our mother. Then, after eating our food, we sit down in the leaving room and interact with each other warmly. We all share our experiences of the day and give valuable advice to each other. Also, we do not over-advise each other. We are close to each other and want to understand each other. Sometimes, we even play different games for entertainment such as Antakshari.
Then, we wish each other 'goodnight' and return to bed. Before I sleep, I ask God to forgive me for the wrong deeds that I have committed that day. Then, I lie down peacefully on my bed.
