CEE Kerala invites applications for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2020 Admissions

The office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) inviting applications for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) -2020 is operated by the Government of Kerala. Following are the list of various Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Medical and Allied Professional Courses for which the online applications are invited for admission to various colleges in Kerala including Engineering courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, etc. for the academic year 2020-2021

Architecture Course

KEAM 2020 Eligibility

  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply but will not be eligible for any kind of reservation to Applicants from PIO/OCI category
  • Applicants should have completed 17 years as on 31st Dec. 2020. There is no upper age limitation to apply for Engineering, Architecture and B.Pharm courses. However, for Medical and Allied courses, the upper age limit will be applicable as per the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG)-2020.
  • For all the above courses, the applicant must have passed Plus two (10+2) level examination with mandatory subjects and marks from Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or its equivalent recognized examination, to apply for the applicable course.
  • For Medical & Allied courses applicants should have compulsory qualified in the Entrance test 'National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET-UG) 2020 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and admission will be based on NEET 2020.
  • For Engineering Course admissions, the applicants must qualify the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) and the rank list will be prepared on the basis of 50:50 marks obtained in the Entrance Exam and final year qualifying exam marks for Physics, Chemistry and biology together.
  • In the case of Pharma course applicants, they should appear for the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination to qualify and the rank list will be prepared based on the Entrance Exam marks obtained in Paper-I (Physics &Chemistry)
  • For Admission to Architecture Course, applicants should have qualified in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA)

Academic Qualification for each courses

  • Medical courses: For MBBS, BDS course the applicant must pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and should score a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology subjects
  • BAMS/ BHMS/BSMS, B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses & BUMS: applicants must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English individually and have a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. (For Admission to BUMS, the applicant should have passed with Urdu/Arabic/ Persian language as one subject at 10th or 12th standard level Or clear the Entrance Examination test of Urdu conducted by University or Board or Registered society authorized by the Govt.
  • Engineering Courses : Applicant must have passed the compulsory subjects Mathematics and Physics and the optional subject Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science or Biotechnology with a minimum 45% marks taken together at the level of respective Higher Secondary Board.
  • Architectural Courses : Applicants must have passed the compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks taken together at the level of Higher Secondary Board or passed 10+3 Diploma examinations with Mathematics as compulsory subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
  • B.Pharm Course: Applicants must have passed 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects individually

Note: SEBC/SC/ST/PWD category wise marks relaxation will be applicable as per the Prospectus and Notification.

  • Time Table for Engineering Entrance Examination
    • 20/04/2020 Monday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-I Physics & Chemistry
    • 21/04/2020 Tuesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II Mathematics

    Application Fee:

    Application fee details category wise are as under
    • For Engineering only/ B.Pharm only/both
      -for General category Applicant – Rs. 700
      -for SC category Applicant Rs.300
    • Architecture only/Medical & Allied only/both
      -for General category Applicant – Rs. 500
      -for SC category Applicant Rs.200
    • For Both above mentioned (a) & (b) courses
      -for General category Applicant – Rs. 900
      -for SC category Applicant Rs.400

    Note: For all above, there is no application fee is applicable for ST category applicants. If the applicant has opted Dubai as Examination Centre, the Applicant must have pay applicable category wise Application Fee+ Rs.12,000/-extra for all categories including ST.

    Mode of payment

    Payment of fees can be paid through online or e-challan through specified Post offices in Kerala. For more details about the payment remittance, applicants should refer the website mentioned below

    • Online applications can be submitted till 5 pm on 25 February 2020
    • The last date to upload the eligibility Certificates and other supporting documents (Except DOB and Nativity Proof) will be 29.02.2020 till 5.00 PM
