An essay on my mother - the person I like the most
In this essay, I have explained about the person whom I love the most in my life and she is my mother. The reason why I consider my mother the best person is because she has dedicated her life to me. She has given me everything I needed and nobody can be like her.
My mother is the greatest asset of my life because she can help me to achieve the aim of my life. She gave me birth and so I am living in this beautiful world today. My heart fills with love and peace when I think of her. I feel lonely when she is not with me. Sometimes, I live with my uncle or grandparents but I always think of her. When I secure a job, I probably would stay far away from her. So, I would probably not live in peace, then.Mother's commitment and dedication
My mother quit a decent job to take care of the family. From my infancy, she nurtured me and was fond of me. Now she is teaching me to become independent in life as I am growing up now. She is a committed woman, who always performs her duties on time. She gets up early in the morning and prepares my Tiffin box. She also offers me cereal milk every day, so that I remain healthy always. She also prepares food for the family and boils water in a large vessel, so that everybody in the house drinks pure water free from any germs. When I return home, she prepares tasty snacks for me and serves me with warm milk or occasionally tea. Even when she is tired, she continues to serve the family. Although she is educated, she is a humble woman who respects the elders. She performs most of the household chores and has employed a maid in our house only to clean vessels. She believes that 'work is worship' and derives the highest satisfaction in serving the members of the family. My mother wears simple clothes, but they are always clean and tidy. Till today, she has participated in many social events and has actively participated as a volunteer in our school for the annual gathering and for Teacher's day. People are impressed with her behavior because she speaks in a diplomatic tone. I have never seen my parents fighting or arguing with each other. My friends tell me that their parents always enter into an argument. I realized that my mother always understands every difficulty of my father and hence never argues or fights with him. Even if my father returns home from his duty late, my mother serves him fresh food without grumbling.
She loves shopping but does not spend money indiscriminately. She buys only the items that are essential for the household and does not spend money on junk food. Sometimes, I go out with my mother to buy vegetables. She always serves fresh food from the best restaurant. She insists that we should not eat from the hawkers because the food is stale. Everybody admires her because she completes every task on time and has realized the value of time. She performs all household chores quickly and diligently. She is a composed woman with great intellectual ability.
When I grow up, I too would take care of my mother but cannot return the love and selfless services that she has rendered.
