Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) has announced admissions 2020 to the Four year Fellow Programme in Management - Communications (FPM-C) program. FPM-C is a doctoral-level interdisciplinary program approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The main aim of this program is to produce candidates with advanced knowledge in the areas of communication and marketing.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for FPM-C program in Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Master's degree/ post-graduate or equivalent qualification in the field of Communications/ Management/ Humanities and/ or Social Science.
  • Candidates with exposure and understanding of advertising, media, marketing, public relations, and journalism shall be added advantage.
  • Candidates should have completed a 3-year bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline after 10+2 or equivalent.
  • OR
  • Candidates who have secured minimum 55% marks in 5-year master's degree in any discipline of Communications/ Management/ Humanities or Social Science.
  • Candidates with exposure and understanding of advertising, media, marketing, public relations, and journalism shall be added advantage.
  • Qualifications must be recognized by AICTE/ Deemed Universities/ Universities.
  • NRIs and foreign nationals with non-Indian degrees which are considered equivalent by AICTE/ UGC to the qualifications mentioned above are also eligible to apply.

Selection procedure

The selection of candidates for admission is done in two stages.

Stage 1:
Telephonic Interviews will be conducted for the eligible candidates. This will be conducted on 23rd or 24th March 2020.

Stage 2:
Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the MICA's FPM admission test which is conducted at the MICA campus. This is a three-day process conducted on 6th, 7th and 8th of April 2020. This admission test comprises of Written Test, Individual Presentation and Personal Interview.

Application process

Interested and eligible candidates willing to apply for Fellow Programme in Management - Communications (FPM-C) program at MICA, Ahmedabad are requested to apply online at the official website. Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 2500/- online itself through the link provided at the payment gateway. Candidates have to upload the two letters of recommendation in the prescribed format, Statement of Purpose (SOP) and proposed research of maximum 1000 words while filling the application. Bank forms for recommendation letters can be downloaded from the official website. The last date to submit online application is 15th March 2020.   • Copies of mark sheets/ certificates of 10th, 10 + 2, graduation and post-graduation.
  • Copies of certificates of M.Phil and NET/ JRF if applicable.
  • Abstracts of any published or unpublished research work.
