B.Tech., B.Arch programs Joint Admission Counselling Delhi online registrations 2020
Looking for the notification of the schedule for the Joint Admission Counselling, Delhi 2020 for admission to B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses for 2020-21? The schedule has been released in leading national newspapers in September 2020 and has been included in this article, which provides the detailed registration process for JAC-Delhi 2020.
A notification has been issued for centralized admissions in B.Tech. and B. Arch courses in Delhi for the academic session 2020-21 through a Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) process. The admission to these courses is for four reputed institutes/Universities of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi and students have to fill in the online application form which is common for admission to all the four. Reservation of seats will be as per the region (Delhi region and outside) and for various categories of candidates. The schedule and details of the application procedure will be available at the official website. In the meanwhile, here's some information based on last year's counseling process.

Eligibility criteria for JAC-Delhi 2020
In terms of age, there is no minimum or maximum age criterion for all the participating institutions.
The acceptable qualifying exams at the Class 12 level will be any of these: (i) Senior School Certificate exam of the CBSE Board, Delhi; (ii) Indian School Certificate exam of the CISCE Board, Delhi; (iii) any other exam that is recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate exam of the CBSE.
The qualifying marks in these respective exams are 60% or more in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, with English, passed as well, for the B.Tech. courses in NSUT, IGDTUW, and DTU. For B.Tech. courses at IIIT-D, the qualifying marks is 80% or more in the aggregate of best of five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Maths, and 80% or more in Maths. For B.Arch. course at IGDTUW, the qualifying marks is 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and 50% in aggregate at the 10+2 level exam or passed the 10+3 Diploma exam with Maths as a compulsory subject with 50% marks in aggregate.

In addition to the above, this is mandatory-Application procedure for JAC-Delhi 2020
First of all, ensure that you have a valid email ID and mobile phone number as these will be the ones where you will receive email intimation and SMS alerts throughout the JAC-Delhi 2020 process, including about the registration confirmation, seat allotment confirmation, upgrading or retention of a seat, confirmation of receipt of admission fee, etc.
You have to first register at JAC-Delhi 2020 official website. Before doing so, ensure that you keep the following ready –
You have to first pay the Counseling Participation fee through online mode only. Next, log in and fill in the registration form with the JEE(Main) 2020 Application Number, date of birth, nationality, and the result status (pass in the Class 12 exam). Then proceed to fill up the other required information, including your choice of university or institution and branch in order of preference. Naturally, if seeking admission to B.Arch., you need to select that course only. You are permitted to fill in as many number of choices as you so wish from the available list. In fact, the more choices that you fill in, the better your chances of getting an allotment of a seat. Moreover, your choice of the branch can get upgraded if there is a vacant seat later during the next round of counseling. Take note that the choices during one round are locked-in for that specific round of counselling, but can be changed at the beginning of the next round. If no changes are done, then the choices in the first round will apply for all subsequent rounds as well.
On successfully submitting the online registration form, take out its print out. This should be signed by the Guardian/parents and yourself, too, and needs to be produced at the time of admission.
Important note: If, after paying the fee, you do not register online, then you will not be considered for a seat allotment for any of the counseling rounds.At the time of admission
The allotment of a seat for B.Tech./B.Arch. programs through JAC-Delhi 2020 does not guarantee admission to any of the universities/institutions. The seat allotment is only provisional in nature and will be given on verification of documents in original, payment of the admission fee as applicable, and other procedures as required to be completed. The admission fee has to be paid online only. as DD, cheques, and cash are not accepted. So make sure that you have the payment receipt along with all the required documents and certificates in original (keep a set of photocopies as well, if required) at the time of admission.Important dates of JAC-Delhi 2020 The list of the entire schedule of JAC-Delhi 2020 with dates of all the rounds is now available at the official website. The important dates are-
Online Registration and choice-filling begins on 21st September at 10 a.m. and ends on 9th October 2020 at 11.59p.m.
The online verification of documents for CW (Defence) sub-category Priority I to V & VII only, and the Bonus Points with reference only to IIIT-D will be done between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on12th and 13th October 2020.
