Application procedure for JAC-Delhi 2020

First of all, ensure that you have a valid email ID and mobile phone number as these will be the ones where you will receive email intimation and SMS alerts throughout the JAC-Delhi 2020 process, including about the registration confirmation, seat allotment confirmation, upgrading or retention of a seat, confirmation of receipt of admission fee, etc.

You have to first register at JAC-Delhi 2020 official website. Before doing so, ensure that you keep the following ready –
  1. The JEE (Main)-2020 Admit Card: This will be required as the first thing that is required for the online registration is the application number and the name that appears on the Admit Card.

  2. All relevant academic certificates: This will be required to fill in the marks as per the relevant subjects, the percentage, etc.

  3. The details of your Bank account: This will be required in case later there is the requirement to refund a fee.

You have to first pay the Counseling Participation fee through online mode only. Next, log in and fill in the registration form with the JEE(Main) 2020 Application Number, date of birth, nationality, and the result status (pass in the Class 12 exam). Then proceed to fill up the other required information, including your choice of university or institution and branch in order of preference. Naturally, if seeking admission to B.Arch., you need to select that course only. You are permitted to fill in as many number of choices as you so wish from the available list. In fact, the more choices that you fill in, the better your chances of getting an allotment of a seat. Moreover, your choice of the branch can get upgraded if there is a vacant seat later during the next round of counseling. Take note that the choices during one round are locked-in for that specific round of counselling, but can be changed at the beginning of the next round. If no changes are done, then the choices in the first round will apply for all subsequent rounds as well.

On successfully submitting the online registration form, take out its print out. This should be signed by the Guardian/parents and yourself, too, and needs to be produced at the time of admission.

Important note: If, after paying the fee, you do not register online, then you will not be considered for a seat allotment for any of the counseling rounds.

At the time of admission

The allotment of a seat for B.Tech./B.Arch. programs through JAC-Delhi 2020 does not guarantee admission to any of the universities/institutions. The seat allotment is only provisional in nature and will be given on verification of documents in original, payment of the admission fee as applicable, and other procedures as required to be completed. The admission fee has to be paid online only. as DD, cheques, and cash are not accepted. So make sure that you have the payment receipt along with all the required documents and certificates in original (keep a set of photocopies as well, if required) at the time of admission.
