About LAABh Foundation

Legal Aid & Awareness for Bhartiya (LAABh) is a non-profitable organisation. It supports human distinction and also recognises people as their resources. The main goal of the organisation is impartiality and learning to the deprived people. The foundation is committed to engage and develop the innovative, hard-working and passionate people to work with them. It runs many campaigns online as well as offline related to social justice. They work mainly for the strengthening of children and women. NGO is also working for the rights of senior citizens etc. They are running various camps and programs related to law education and environment awareness and education from time to time.

About the Internship

LAABh foundation has recently announced its first-ever Legal Research Wing. The main aim of this wing is to fulfil the research goals and complete the research projects being undertaken by the foundation.

The research internship will allow the interns to work from home and learn virtually. A report will be prepared and published by LAABh foundation after the finish of each project. This report will also include the names of the research interns. This research fellowship is virtual (work from home).

Topics of Research Projects

At present, LAABh is undertaking two research projects together. The research will be carried out on the topics like "Right to Privacy" and "Health Laws". At the end of the projects at LAABh, a comprehensive report on each of these projects will be prepared.


  • Any law student, law research scholar or law professor can apply for this internship.
  • Any national including Indians and foreign nationals are eligible to apply.


The internship duration will be up to 4 to 6 months. However, it will depend on the project's completion. The projects will be starting virtually from the 15th of April, 2020.


Based on the performance, the interns may be paid stipends at the end of the internship.

Internship Certificate

An internship certificate will be issued to each candidate upon successful completion of the projects. In the certificate, the contribution made by the research fellow will be mentioned.

Recommendation Letter

Based on the performance and exceptional work, some students may be issued a letter of recommendation (LOR).

Interested law students must send below-mentioned documents:
  1. Latest CV
  2. Statement of Purpose (maximum 500 words)
  3. Published or Unpublished research paper
  4. Work experience in any of the research topic mentioned above.
