In this new academic year, it is introducing 17 courses. They include M.Ed. Education, M.A. Gender Studies, M.A. Communication (Media Studies), M.A. Communication (Media Practice), M.Tech. Integrated Masters Degree 5 year course

In this category Mathematical Science/Physics/Chemical Science/Systems/Biology/Applied Geology Course are offered by the university. Candidates who completed Intermediate Science subjects must pass with 60% of marks to join this course. To join Mathematical Science, and Physics courses candidates must study their Intermediate course with Mathematics.
  • M.Sc.Health Psychology

    Candidates who desire to join this course must be Arts and Science group student in Intermediate and should pass with 60% marks.

  • M. Optometry 6 years course

    Candidates who desire to join this course must pass with 60% of marks in Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, as subjects.

  • M.A. Telugu/Language Science/Hindi

    To join this course, candidates must pass with 60% of marks in Intermediate with Telugu/English/Hindi as one of the subject. Candidates who are having an equivalent exam pass in Oriental Course also are eligible.

  • M.A.Economics /History/Political Science/Sociology/Anthropology

    Candidates must pass Intermediate with 60% marks to join this course.

M.Sc. 2 Year Courses

M.Sc. Programs

Candidates who wish to join Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics-operation Research/Physics/Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Plant Biology and Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Animal Biology and Biotechnology must pass with 60% marks in UG in the respective branches to which they are applying.

  • M.Sc. Ocean and Atmospheric Science

    To join this course a candidate must have passed any B.Sc. Degree with Maths and Physics as optional subjects or B.Tech. completed candidates with Civil/ Mechanical /Electrical courses.

  • M.Sc. Health Psychology

    The candidates must possess a Psychology Degree with 60% of marks.

  • M.Sc. Neural and Cognitive ScienceCandidates with 55% pass in Degree are eligible for this course. Candidates with Natural Science and Maths subjects Degree/Engineering/Computer Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/MBBS Degree candidates are also eligible for this course.

  • MPH (Public Health)

    Candidates with Medicine/Dentistry/Ayush/Physiotherapy/Veterinary Science/Agricultural Science/Social Science/any Science Degree/Art and Humanity Degree are eligible for this course.

M.A. Courses

To join in English/Philosophy/Hindi/Telugu/Applied Linguistics/History/Political Science/Sociology/Anthropology/Comparative Literature/Economics/Financial Economics/Gender Studies/English Study Language courses, candidates must have a pass in the respective subjects with 55% marks.

For Applied Linguistic courses, candidates must pass with a 10+2+3 system. For M.A. Anthropology and Philosophy courses, candidates must possess any Degree pass with 50% marks.

For M.Ed.(Education), candidates must have a normal Degree with B.Ed./Bachelor of Elementary Education course with 50% of marks.

For MA Communication (Media studies/Media Practice), candidates must pass any Degree with 55% marks.

For M.Phil. courses in Arts and Science, candidates must possess a PG Degree in the concerned subject with 55% marks.

PG in Arts and Communication

For these courses, candidates must possess a Degree in Fine Arts-BFA/BVA/B.A. completed or History/Sociology-literature/Anthropology Degree completed candidates are eligible for MFA course.

For MFA Printing/Print Making/Sculpture courses, candidates passing with Fine Arts in BFA/BVA/BA are eligible.

For MPA Theater Arts, candidates passed in any Degree /Theater Arts/Performing Arts are eligible for this course.

For MPA Dance (Kuchipudi/Bharathanatyam) course, candidates with Bachelors's Degree/Professional Diploma Degree in Dance/ Degree certificate and a certificate in Dance are eligible for this course.

MBA Courses

For MBA Health Care and Management course, candidates must pass with 60% marks in Homeo/Ayurvedic/Unani/Dental/Physiotherapy/Nursing/Pharmacy/Pharm-D/Medical Lab Technology/Biomedical and Biotechnology/MBBS pass with 55% marks are eligible for this course.

For the MBA Business Analytics course, candidates with a 60% pass in Degree are eligible for this course.

For the Executive MBA course taught at weekends candidates must possess a Degree with 55% marks are eligible.

PG Engineering courses

For M.Tech. Microelectronics and VLS Design (Regular) course, candidates have to pass with 60% marks in BE/B.Tech. Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics are eligible for this course.

Integrated Ph.D.

For this course of Integrated M.Sc. and Ph.D., candidates have to enroll for ding research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Animal Biology and Biotechnology. Candidates must pass B.Sc. Degree in concerned subject with 60% marks.

For regular Ph.D. Programs in Arts, Science and Cultural Courses, candidates must score 55% marks in PG Degree.

For a Ph.D. in Public Health, candidates who are eligible in JRF/UGC-NET have no need to go for the entrance exams.

For Ph.D. in Biomedical Science, candidates must pass their PG with 55% marks and must possess JRF and no entrance test is required for them.

Selection Procedure

For most of the courses, candidates are selected on the basis of the rank got in the entrance exam conducted by the University. For MCA courses, the NIT common entrance test score, CAB score for MBA courses, and GATE score for M.Tech. will be considered. For Integrated M.Tech. Computer Science, the JEE score will be considered. For M.Sc. Biotechnology, the score got in JNU-New Delhi CEEB score will be considered.

Details of Entrance exam

Candidates have to apply for the entrance test through online mode. The fee for Entrance exam:-Rs.600 for General candidates, Rs.550 for EWS, Rs.400 for OBC, Rs.275 for SC/ST/Physically handicapped.
