How to participate online in Funky Rainbow Lockdown Books Quiz
Love books and love quizzes? No better time than a lockdown to participate in a fun quiz on childrens' books organized by Funky Rainbow, the popular online bookstore. Details of how to participate in the Funky Rainbow lockdown quiz, as also exciting offers on their book vouchers, have been provided in this article.
Overview
Funky Rainbow is more than an online bookshop – it wanders around too! It brings the magic of books to events that are oriented towards children not just in Bengaluru, where it is based, but in other cities as well. They even organize book events in a residential or office space and not just at schools.
The small team behind Funky Rainbow of writers, editors, and illustrators have loads of – what else – bookish knowledge in the sense of acumen for what type of books will delight a particular age group. So whether it is a toddler who has not yet grasped reading but loves picture books or a teen who would love to get immersed in a thrilling spy story, they know exactly which book to put in which slot. The uniqueness of Funky Rainbow is that, while they stock books of both national and international publishers, they are primarily focused on children's books penned by Indian authors. There's a simple reason for this, namely, that children can connect easily with story settings written by the Indian authors. They can also relate better to the Indian characters, objects and scenes that are illustrated in the pictures that support those stories. Their vast stock of books include reputed publishers such as Duckbill, Rupa & Co., Karadi Tales, Penguin, Blue Bird books, etc.

This is an interesting piece of information and delight for the readers. This type of competitions bring the book lovers some creative activities and provide them with a chance to participate as well as check their knowledge and awareness about the books and library world. Earlier the bookstore chain 'Crossword' used to hold such competitions in a variety of ways and they also arranged the writers address in the bookstore where people can go on a specific date and meet writers of their choice. Then there were reading competitions and précis making ones and it was all a good fun activity for the book lovers. I would also try to visit and for my own awareness will try to see what sort of questions are being asked there.
