CUCET-2020 UI, PG and RP courses online applications new schedule and exam format
The last date to submit the online application for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test for 2020 (CUCET-2020), through which students can get admission to UI, PG, and RP programs at various Central and State Universities in India, has been extended. This article provides the schedule of dates of the test and the last date to apply. The fresh schedule of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test for 2020 (CUCET-2020) has been announced. The test that is held on a national level at various centres across India is organized by 14 Central Universities and four State Universities. The purpose of this entrance test is to get admission to Integrated/Undergraduate (UI) programs, Post Graduate (PG) programs, and Research Programs (PG). The tests for the first two are in offline OMR mode, while for the third it is a computer-based online test. Students have to pay a nominal fee to avail of the single exam process.

First, know the new closing date schedule-
The last date for submission of the CUCET-2020 online application has been extended to 23rd May 2020 (the earlier date was 11th April 2020).
The Test dates are the same:
Test result: 26th June 2020.
Timings: There will be three shift schedules, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the morning shift; 12 noon to 2 p.m. for the afternoon shift; and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the evening shift.Programs and eligibility requirements

Each program will have its own individual eligibility requirements so candidates must check these properly and ensure that they fulfill all the requirements before applying. CUCET-2020 online application procedure
Applications for CUCET-2020 will be accepted in online mode only. Applications through post or courier or submitted in person will not be accepted. First you need to register with a valid email ID and a mobile number and then proceed to fill up the details for the online application.
You are allowed to apply for three programs from three Participating Universities (PUs) and also further apply up to three additional PUs (three programs each) by availing the add-on facility by paying an additional fee (the same amount is applicable as mentioned below). You will be allowed to appear for CUCET-2020 only after the final verification is done of relevant documents (mark sheets, certificates, etc), the validity of certificates/mark sheets of the qualifying exam and also of non-involvement in the adoption of unfair means in any of the University exams or entrance tests held earlier at the time of admissions.
Prior to starting the online application procedure, ensure that you keep ready your latest photo in digital format that has clarity and is the size of 20 KB to 50 KB, as well as a scanned image of your signature in the size of 10 KB to 50 KB. You have to pay the application fee online through Net Banking or UPI or with a Debit/Credit card.
The CUCET-2020 application fee is as follows-
Select the choice of center from the list that is provided in the online application, namely 141 cities for UI and PG programs and 47 options given for RP programs, as the case may be.

For UI and PG programs
The test is OMR-based with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of two hours' duration. There are two parts to the paper. Part A has 25 questions for language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, and analytical skills. Part B has 75 questions related to the general domain knowledge, with three, four, or five sections, each of 25 questions.
In the case of some of the Integrated programs, MBA, LLB, MCA or any other general program, you will be appearing for a single paper of 100 MCQs on English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills.
The marking system: You will get one mark for a correct answer and negative marking of 0.25 for an incorrect answer. If you do not attempt the question at all, then it will not be included in the assessment.For RP programs
The test is CBT-based of two hours' duration with two parts. Part A has 50 questions for language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, analytical skills and Research Methodology. Part B has 50 questions of domain knowledge.
The marking system: A correct answer will be given one mark, but there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
What to do after the CUCET-2020 result
Once the result is declared, you will be allotted a seat in order of merit in the respective program and university/institute through online/offline counselling. You will attend the counselling session at the university/institute as per the schedule of dates that is provided in the notification of the website of the respective university/institute. You will be required to pay a separate fee for the online counseling session.
You will also be able to access the answer keys for the various Test-papers when these are uploaded on 1st June 2020 for UI and PG programs, and on 8th June 2020 for RP programs.
