WBCHSE Class 12 HS Uchcha Madhyamik remaining Board exams revised schedule 2020

The date sheet of Uchcha Madhyamik's remaining examinations has been revised again! Unlock 1 or lockdown 5 will be continued up to 30th June as such the routine has been postponed again. The State Education Minister, Partha Chatterjee announced that the examination will not be held on 29th June. It has been decided as of now that the exam will be held on 2nd, 6th and 8th July 2020 instead of 29th June, 2nd and 6th July as decided earlier. However, the detailed schedule will be published by the council shortly.



The new dates of WB Board Uchcha Madhyamik pending examinations have been published! The nationwide lockdown for the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus had postponed this Board exam midway just like other examinations. Accordingly, such an announcement will make all students relief who are awaited to appear in the rest examinations.

Few days ago, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced exam schedule of JEE Main and NEET 2020. Then CBSE released their revised exam dates. Now it was the turn of West Bengal Board. And the State Education Minister, Partha Chattopadhaya, has finally announced the exam dates. In addition, he also added a few instructions to safeguard each other from the spreading of coronavirus.

West Bengal Board HS examination was postponed on the last 21st March due to COVID-19 cases. Exams scheduled on 23rd, 25th, and 27th March were postponed. Exams that are pending to be conducted are in three groups-
  1. Physics, Nutrition, Accountancy, Education

  2. Chemistry, Economics, Journalism and Mass Communication, Sanskrit, other languages like Persian, Arabic, French, etc.

  3. Statistics, Geography, Costing & Taxation, and Home Management & Family Resource Management.

Examination dates for those subjects have finally been announced by the West Bengal Govt.

State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee informed that the rest of the examinations will be held on 29th June, 2nd July, and 6th July 2020. He also added that all students who will appear for the examination will have to wear masks compulsorily. Everyone shall keep a hand sanitizer bottle with them. Sanitizers have to be kept in front of the examination hall too by the management so that examinees can enter the hall only after sanitizing themselves. Examiners cannot arrange more than one seat of the examinee on one bench. Not only that, but examinees will not be seated in adjacent benches too. They will be seated in the examination hall leaving one bench to maintain social distancing.



The minister has told that initially the dates are being announced by them but the final schedule of dates will be published by the Uchha Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad shortly. Approximately the number of students for the said group of exams is 2 lakh 7 thousand, 2 lakh 44 thousand and 2 lakh 16 thousand respectively. Accordingly, it is being planned to conduct those exams first which has lesser examinees. Initially it is planned to conduct the remaining exams in almost 2,500 centres, with 80 to 100 examinees in each centre.
