CISCE board ICSE, ISC Class 10 and 12 pending exams schedule 2020


The Council for the Indian School Certification Examinations (CISCE) has released a new schedule for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exam for pending papers for the students of class X & XII. Interested candidates will obtain a complete rescheduled time table in this article for 10th and 12th standards. The published guidelines for the examinations along with the exam schedule is also available hereunder.

The Council for the Indian School Certification Examinations (CISCE) has notified the new exam schedule 2020 for the examination of remaining subjects for ICSE and ISC on their official website. Every year ICSE and ISC are conducted for classes 10 and 12 respectively by the Board, but all major exams were postponed this year due to the nationwide lockdown for the coronavirus outbreak.



The remaining exams of ICSE and ISC 2020 will be conducted between 2nd July to 12th July 2020 and 1st July 2020 to 14th July 2020 respectively. A total of 6 exams including elective papers will be conducted for 10th standard students whereas 8 exams will be held on for the students of 12th class.



ICSE (class X) routine 2020 for pending exams

All the examination will be started at 11:00 a.m. However, the schedule is as follows:
  1. Geography - HCG Paper 2 will be held on 2nd July 2020, Thursday. The duration of the exam is for 2 hours.
  2. Art Paper 4 (Applied Art) will be conducted on 4th July 2020, Saturday. The duration is of 3 hours.
  3. Group III - Elective e.g. Carnatic Music, Commercial Application, Computer Application, Cookery, Drama, Economic Applications, Environmental Applications, Fashion Designing, French, German, Hindustani Music, Home Science, Indian Dance, Mass Media & Communication, Physical Education, Spanish, Western music, Yoga and Technical Drawing Applications will be organized at 6th July 2020, Monday. The examination time period is of 3 hours for Technical Drawing Applications whereas 2 hours will be for rest subjects.
  4. The examination of Hindi will be conducted on 8th July 2020, Wednesday for 3 hours.
  5. Biology - Science Paper 3 will be organized on 10th July 2020, Friday. The duration of the exam will be 2 hrs.
  6. On 12th July 2020, Saturday; Economics (Group II Elective) will be organized. The exam duration will be of 2 hours.




ISC (class XII) schedule 2020 for remaining papers

Exams will be started at 11:00 a.m. and the duration of all exams will be of 3 hours. However, the rescheduled schedule is as follows:
  1. Biology (Paper 1) Theory will be conducted on 1st July 2020, Wednesday
  2. Business Studies will be organized on 3rd July 2020, Friday
  3. Geography will be held on 5th July 2020, Sunday
  4. Psychology will be conducted on 7th July 2020, Tuesday
  5. Sociology will be held on 9th July 2020, Thursday
  6. Home Science (Paper 1) Theory will be organized on 11th July 2020, Saturday
  7. Elective English will be conducted on 13th July 2020, Monday
  8. Art 5 - Craft will be held on 14th July 2020, Tuesday




Guidelines

In addition to the issued schedule, the Chief Executive and Secretary of the board Gerry Arathoon has also notified few guidelines such as wearing a face mask, carrying their own hand sanitizer bottle, etc. which have to be followed by the students strictly to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
