About University of Hyderabad
The University of Hyderabad is a Central University and accorded the Institution of Eminence status accorded by the Government of India in September 2019. Earlier the University was also granted the status of University with Potential for Excellence (UPE) by the UGC and 'A' Grade Accredited by NAAC. The University was ranked 11th overall by National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2019. Admission to Integrated Master degree, Post Graduate Courses, Integrated M.Sc.-PhD and PhD programmes are open for the session 2020-2021 via an entrance examination.

Educational Qualifications: 10+2 or Intermediate from CBSE, CSE, HSC or equivalents with Science subjects with a minimum of 60% marks.
Subject: Optometry
Duration: 6 Years
No. Of Seats: 28
Educational Qualifications: 10+2 in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English as one of the subjects with at least 60% marks.Postgraduate courses (Duration: 2-3 years)
Course: Masters Degree in Sciences(M.Sc.)
Subject with No. Of Seats: Biochemistry (28); Plant Biology & Biotechnology (23); Molecular Microbiology (15); Animal Biology and Biotechnology (23)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Sciences (B.Sc.) with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of Science subjects

How to Apply: Applications are being submitted online through the online portal of University of Hyderabad.
The candidates must have following documents handy before applying online: A scanned (digital) image of his/her photo (25kb), signature (10kb) and Scanned copy of Caste Certification for SC/ST/OBC/ EWS candidates. In case of OBC Candidates, Caste certificate must be issued by Central Government, State BC certificate will not be entertained.
Please note that there will not be any change in the data provided in the application form once it is submitted. Change of Name, Category, Centre, Course and subject will not be considered in any case.
Application Fees: The application fee is to be submitted along with the application. Without a fee, the application form will be rejected. Fees once paid cannot be refunded. Fee details are as given below:
General: 600/-;
EWS: Rs.550/-;
OBC: Rs.400/-;
SC/ST/PWD( PH): Rs 275/-.
Fees Submission Online: After filling the on-line application, the applicant will have to submit the fees by using Online Payment Gateway on the official website of UOH. The Application No. & Payment Transaction Number (it will be generated & appeared at the time of payment)need to be noted carefully by the applicant for future reference.
