About the Institute
Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS) is situated in Faridabad city of Haryana. The Deemed University was established in 1997 with the name Career Institute of Technology and Management. It was renamed as Faridabad Institute of Technology and Manav Rachna International University. The Institute campus is spread in an area of approximately 60 Acres. Before applying to any PhD programme, the candidates must read all the details of the programme like eligibility conditions, fees payable and rules and regulations available on the official websites of MRIIRS.For admission to PhD programmes, there will be an entrance exam. A merit list will be prepared. Based on that, successful candidates will be called for interview.
Entrance Exam Pattern: The entrance exam will consist of two parts I.e. Part-A & Part-B. Both parts will have multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 80 multiple-choice questions including 40 MCQs in Part -A & 40 MCQs in Part-B. Each question will carry one mark. Entrance Exam duration will be 90 minutes.
Exam Syllabus: Part-A will have questions from Research Methodology while Part-B will be subject-specific.
The Venue of Entrance Exam: The entrance exam will be held in the month of August 2020 in the University Campus and is mandatory for all candidates, for which they will be required to report at MRIIRS Campus on the day of Entrance Test.
Interview: Based on the merit of the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The interview will be of 30 marks.
Meeting with the Supervisor: Based on the merit of the written entrance exam, successful candidates will be given 06 working days (university working hours only) to meet the prospective supervisors to discuss their research area and presentation in the university. The perspective supervisor can be selected from the list of supervisors, provided by Council for Doctoral Programme (CDP).Important Dates
Important Note: The candidates those who have passed UGC / CSIR (JRF)/M.Phil and UGC NET examination, are exempted for the entrance Exam. They need not appear in the entrance exam. Contact Details
