UP NEET PG-2020 second round of online counseling time schedule for medical admissions


Not obtained a seat in the first round of UP NEET PG-2020 counselling? Office of the Director-General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh has announced the time schedule of the second round of Online Counseling of UP NEET PG-2020. This time schedule is for admission through online counselling in the State of Uttar Pradesh for Government colleges, institutions and universities as well as for private medical and dental colleges, institutions and universities for Postgraduate medical courses, including for dental courses.

For general information: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, UP was set up by the State Govt. to ensure quality education at the various medical and dental institutions and provide online counseling for the allotment of seats through a fair admission process.



Who can apply

Candidates who appeared for the all-India central exam, namely NEET PG-2020, will have registered at the official website of UP NEET, made the required payment and uploaded the relevant documents. Once the fee and original documents were submitted at the allotted college, the student may want to upgrade his/her seat. In that case, the student can register for the second round of counseling but is required to pay the security fee again (see details of the fee payment below). Those students who did not join the allotted college after the first round of counselling will have forfeited their security money and can register for the second round of counselling by paying the security fee again.

Students seeking admission to the course in a Government college will be required to mandatorily serve in the State of U.P. as per the prevailing rules and for this will be required to sign a Bond.



How to register for the second round of counseling

Students have to register and log in at the official website for UP NEET PG-2020 counseling . The security fee has to be paid with a debit card or credit card or via Net Banking or E-Challan. The registration fee is Rs.3000/- and is not refundable. Make sure that you download and take a printout of the registration slip for future reference.

The security money is as follows-
  1. Rs.30,000/- + Bank charges - you can opt only for Govt. Medical Colleges and Govt. Dental colleges/universities/institutions.

  2. Rs.2,00,000/- + Bank charges - you can opt only for Govt. and private Medical colleges/universities/institutions.

  3. Rs.1,00,000/- + Bank charges - you can opt only for Govt. and private Dental colleges/universities/institutions.

Note: the above security money must be paid before choice filling.

Time schedule for second round of counseling

Starting date of online registration: 22nd June 2020, 2 p.m. onwards.
Last date of online registration: 26th June 2020.
Starting date of online payment of Security Fee: 22nd June 2020, 2 p.m. onwards.
Last date of online payment of Security Fee: 30th June 2020.
Tentative date of Declaration of Merit List: 2nd July 2020.
Starting date of online choice filling and locking: 6th July 2020, 4 p.m. onwards.
Last date of online choice filling and locking: 9th July 2020 up to 11 a.m.
Declaration of the result of seat allotment: 10th, 11th July 2020.
Starting date for downloading of allotment letters and admission: 13th July 2020.
Last date for downloading of allotment letters and admission: 17th July 2020.
