ONGC recruitment of Doctors on contract basis in Dehradun

Introduction
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), which is a Public sector Maharatna company engaged in the production of Oil and Gas in India as well as in abroad, are hiring for Doctors for Emergency, General Duty and Specialists on contract basis at a hospital in Dehradun. The detailed Qualifications, Posts are mentioned as follows.
Qualification: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(M.B.B.S Degree)
The fixed salary for the Post will be RS 72,000.
Qualification: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS Degree).
The fixed salary is RS 72,000
Qualification: MD in General Medicine
The fixed salary for the post is RS 1,00,000.
Qualification: MD in Radiology or MD in Radio Diagnosis.
The fixed salary for the post is RS 1,00,000.
Qualification: MS in General Surgery.
The fixed salary for the post is RS 1,00,000.
Note: Candidates who are having training in public health or occupational medicine will be preferred. The selected candidates can join the post immediately after the result declaration except those who are in EWS, OBC and UR post of first three positions and who can join from 01-01-2021 or decided by ONGC administration. PWD candidates can apply only for Contract Medical Officer-General Duty.
The candidate must have essential qualifications as well as valid registration with statutory authority on or before the pre-registration date and there is no age limit for the post. For all the posts, the experience is desirable. Qualifications equivalent to one mentioned here and those who obtain a qualification from a foreign university will not be accepted. Candidates who are under reservations from SC, OBC and they have to produce the certificate in the prescribed format only, meant for the appointment to post from a designated authority which identifies the Cast of the Candidate.
An OBC candidate's claim will be verified as per the State where the father originally resides. That is, a person who has shifted or migrated from one state to another must produce an OBC certificate from where his or her father's OBC certificate belongs from the state. The format of certificate for PWD, SC and OBC for the employment can be downloaded from the website of ONGC www.ongcindia.com. Those who are taking reservation from the EWS category must produce an income and Asset Certificate which is issued from the respective authority. If the recruitment for EWS category cannot be filled in one respective year, then the recruitment will not be carried forward to the next year.

Those who are keen on applying must visit ONGC website https://ongcindia.com/ for pre-registering the online application from July 3, 2020, to July 17, 2020. The last date of Pre-registration of the application is July 17, 2020.
After the registration, candidates who are interested in the interview must send their relevant documents like educational documents, address proof, Caste Certificate, Experience Certificate, etc in PDF format only. Candidates must send a scanned copy of passport size photograph in separate pdf files, one for documents and another for photo and send to recruitment@ongc.co.in before 18.07.2020.
Communications with the candidate will be through SMS or Email. ONGC will seek additional documents after the mentioned date. The candidates who are shortlisted will be given information through email and SMS about the time and date of the interview. The candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the criteria before applying, failing which can result to be rejected or cancelled.
Criteria for Selection:
The weightage will be assigned in the following ways-
For Qualification, 70 marks will be assigned and in that 60 marks will be for essential qualification and other 10 marks will be for higher qualifications. For the interview, 30 marks will be assigned and in total 100 marks.
Note: The breakup of 10 marks for the higher qualification will be as follows. Those who are having MBBS Bachelors degree qualification, 5 marks will be assigned for having Masters degree in a respective field like MD or MS. Additional 5 marks will be given for having Post Graduate qualification in the respective field like M.Ch or DM. Qualifications for getting additional marks must be in line. For example, those who are having a Hospital Administration MBA cannot be considered for MBBS qualification. The qualifying marks for the interview will be 18 marks for UR, EWS, OBC and 12 marks will be for SC category.
Merit List Finalization
The candidates who qualify for the interview will be listed in the merit list. Offer letter for the appointment will be issued based on rank in the merit list which is prepared on the total sum of marks scored by the candidate in the interview and qualification.
For the posts if there is any tie then the total marks scored between the two candidates, a candidate who is having more marks in the interview will be considered as senior one. If marks are also equal, then candidates who are having an older age will be considered as senior for the appointment. For the post of Contract Medical Officer- Occupational Health, if there is any tie between two candidates, then one who is having training in occupational health or public health will be given preference. Appointment of candidates selected will be based on passing the company's Medical Examination standards laid down under the Employees Rules, 1996.
