How to apply for NMAT Exam 2020


NMAT Exam is scheduled to be conducted from Oct 6 to Dec 19, 2020. The registration will begin from August 1st onwards. Details about B-Schools and information about applying are mentioned in the article.

Introduction

The NMAT exam is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council and it is an organization which comprises of leading business schools around the world. GMAC is also the GMAT and NMAT Exam Administrator. How to register and make the payment

  • The first step is to create an account on the official NMAT website, https://www.nmat.org/ using a valid email address.

  • Next, provide your personal information such as contact nos. and educational qualifications, work experience, etc and select the programs for sending scores and indicate your interest in participating in the service and agree to the terms and conditions.

  • The name and date of birth which is to be entered must match with the photo and signature ID.

  • Select the schools for sending the scores, with up to 5 programs and additional Rs.200 will be taken for each one for applying for more than 5 programs.

  • Next, you have to upload a photograph which looks exactly like you and this photograph will be put on the admit card.

  • Next, pay for the Test fee.

  • Once the payment is approved, the schedule and exam option will be updated in the dashboard, so that you can go ahead and schedule the exam.

  • A maximum of three Retakes can be done during the Testing period.

  • The Retake registration option will be added to your dashboard after the exam date. You need to register for the retake exam and must pay the required fee for it.

PNote:The Test Registration fee is Rs.2000 and for late application registration, it is Rs. 2500. For getting additional score reports beyond five, the fee is Rs.200. For rescheduling the exam it is Rs.1100.

NMAT Exam Pattern

The exam is scheduled to be conducted from Oct 6 to Dec 19, 2020. The registration will begin from August 1st onwards. The exam pattern has changed and it is a computer exam. Overall, the number of questions has been reduced to 108 from 120. From this year onwards there will be 36 questions in each section and earlier it was 48 for Quantitative Section, 32 for Language skills, 40 for Logical Reasoning. The sectional time limit has been changed and the total duration of the exam is of 2 hours.
The test-takers will get the scaled scores in less than 48 years and will be notified through email. The test will be conducted in across 46 cities in India and four countries in abroad. 40 B-schools have been accepting the NMAT Scores.
