Delhi Technological University (DTU) invites applications from Graduates who wish to pursue a Postgraduate M.Sc. course for the academic session 2020-2022. There are 40 seats available for each of the Departments of Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, and Applied Biotechnology. The curriculum of the two-year course in each of the three disciplines is based on a Choice Based Credit System (called CBCS in short) as per UGC norms. The admission process will be through a national-level entrance test, the mode of which will be decided upon later.Eligibility requirements
M.Sc. Mathematics
You should have completed B.A. or B.Sc. (General or Hons.) with min. 55%, or the equivalent CGPA as provided by the institute or university, with Mathematics as one of the main subjects.M.Sc. Physics
You should have completed B.Sc. (General or Hons.) with min. 55% or the equivalent CGPA, as provided by the institute or university, with Physics as one of the main subjects.M.Sc. Biotechnology
You should have completed B.Sc. (General or Hons.) with min.55%, or the equivalent CGPA as provided by the institute or university, with Biology as one of the main subjects.
Note: Students who are appearing for the qualifying exam, including backlogs or supplementary papers, can also apply, but will get provisional admission on submitting the certificate in the prescribed proforma given in the official brochure. The admission may be confirmed only on submission of the relevant documents no later than 31st October 2020.Fee structure

The above course fee has to be paid online in a single instalment only, at the DTU website at the time of admission. Non-payment of the course fee will result in withdrawal of the admission offer.Application procedure Submit the online application for DTU M.Sc. programs latest by 20th July 2020 and pay the online fee as well. The printout of the completed online application must be signed and brought along with two photos (the photo should be the same as uploaded for the online application) at the time of counselling.
The application fee is Rs.1000/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and Rs.500/- for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. This fee can be paid with a debit or credit card or via Net Banking.
After admission approval
You have to report on the given date and at the given time at the venue mentioned by the Department for the admission round to the M.Sc. program. You need to bring along the original documents listed below, as well as one set of self-attested photocopies of these documents, two passport-size photos, a printout of the registration form (this must be signed), and the receipt of the online fee.

The last date to submit the online registration/application is 20th July 2020, 12 midnight.
List of eligible candidates for the entrance test will be displayed at the DTU website on 24th July 2020.
The Admit Card will be available for download at the DTU website on 5th August 2020.
The written exam for M.Sc. admissions is tentatively fixed for 11th August 2020.
The list of shortlisted candidates for the first round of admission will be displayed on 13th August 2020.
The submission for freezing of forms in the Department will be done by 20th August 2020, 5 p.m.
The list of vacant seats for the second round of admissions will be displayed on 25th August 2020.
Students shortlisted for the second round of admissions have to report on 3rd September 2020, at 10 a.m.
The list of vacant seats for the spot round will be displayed on 10th September 2020, 6 p.m.
