Delhi Technological University (DTU) invites applications from Graduates who wish to pursue a postgraduate M.Tech. course for the academic session 2020-2022. A candidate can apply for admission to more than one course, but in such a case the online registration and application for each should be done separately and the online fee needs to be paid for each one.

As a full-time candidate, you can get admission to one of the DTU M.Tech. programs on the basis of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score and marks scored in the entrance test. Five seats (supernumerary) are available in all the M.Tech. programs for full-time sponsored candidates on merit basis, provided they are employees of PSUs or Govt. Depts. or Educational & Research institutes with at least one year's experience as on 31st July 2020. They will be required to take leave for a minimum period of two years. The eligibility criteria are the same as for the full-time candidates, but the criteria of GATE scores has been waived off. Sponsored candidates seeking admission through any Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) scheme should contact the DRDO organization for sponsorship. In case you wish to take up any of the M.Tech. programs on a part-time basis, you are required to submit a 'No Objection Certificate' in the prescribed format from the appropriate person in your organization (refer for instructions to the official brochure).

You must register and submit your application to the M.Tech. course through the online process only at the DTU official website. Pay the online fee and take a printout of the submitted online application form. Sign this form and take it with two photos on the day of counseling. Ensure that the photos are the same as that which was uploaded for the online application. Those who are awaiting their final year qualifying exam marks can also fill in the online application for admission but are required to upload the graduation marks latest by 30th August 2020 for which a separate link will be provided.
The application fee is Rs.1000/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and Rs.500/- for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. This fee can be paid with a debit or credit card or via Net Banking.After admission approval
The selected candidates for each round of admission will be displayed on the official DTU website. These candidates are then required to pay the course fees online and submit the fee receipt to the Department.

The last date to submit online registration is 20th July 2020, 12 midnight.
The list of shortlisted candidates for the first round of admission will be displayed on 3rd August 2020, at 5p.m.
Students shortlisted for the first round of admissions have to report on 6th August 2020 at 10 a.m.
Submission of freezing of forms can be done on 10th August 2020 by 5p.m.
The list of vacant seats for the second round of admissions will be displayed on 13th August 2020, 8 p.m.
Students shortlisted for the second round of admissions have to report on 17th August 2020, at 10 a.m.
Spot round of admissions: The list of vacant seats for the spot round will be displayed on 24th August 2020, 6 p.m.
Dates of admission schedule based on the written test-
The list of candidates eligible to appear for the written test will be displayed on 3rd August 2020, 5 p.m.
The online issuance of the Admit Card will be on 7th August 2020.
