This article provides timely information for the students in Maharashtra who have to now take admission in class XI after completing their class X.

Centralised Online Admission Process (CAP) for Class XI in Maharashtra seems to be a well-thought system to facilitate the students to get admission in the choice of their school. I think the student must be entering a few choices of schools so that if as per merit he or she does not get admission in a particular school then the next school might be available to him. This type of centralised system would help the meritorious students to seek admission in the choice of their school. Moreover, such computerised admission systems also help in circumventing any irregularity in the admission which otherwise is prone to exist there in individual school admissions made at the discretions of the individual schools.
