UP ITI 2020 Application form released - Important dates, Eligibility & How to apply

Online application for UP ITI has been released recently on 30th July 2020. Admission process to UP ITI is conducted by Vyavsayik Praiksha Parishad, UP (VPPUP) for various ITI courses. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they are eligible for UP ITI application form before filling it.

Academic qualification:
  • Candidates should have passed 10th standard in any stream from a recognized board.

  • Candidates appearing for the 10th standard are also eligible to apply.

Age limit:
  • Candidate must have age of at least 14 years (as on 1st August 2020).

  • No relaxation in age is offered to reserved category candidates. Also, there is no upper age limit.

Candidates must be physically fit during the application process.

Application Fee

Candidates will have to pay fee through online mode, like credit card, debit card or net banking.

For General and OBC candidates, fee is 250 INR.
For SC/ST candidates, fee is 150 INR.
Application fee is non-refundable/non-transferable in any case.

How to Apply

  • Candidates will have to visit official site of UP ITI i.e. http://admissionscvtup.in/apps/frmUserLogin.aspx

  • Pay the application fee as per your category

  • Get the login details to fill the form

  • Login to your application form and fill the personal and academic details

  • Verify your filled details and click on Submit button

  • Take printout of confirmation page for future preference

Admission Procedure

Admission in various ITI, diploma and polytechnic courses will be done on the basis of merit list. First, candidates will have to appear for the entrance test after applying for UP ITI. Then, merit list will be generated on the basis of their entrance test marks and board marks. On the basis of merit list, they will be given admission in colleges.

Merit List

Merit list will be released on the official site of UP ITI. So, candidates can view their names by filling their application number and date of birth. They can give their preference for college on the basis of merit list.


Finally, eligible candidates will have to attend the counselling process. Date, Time and Venue will be informed to candidates on official site. Candidates must visit counseling center along with all relevant documents along with result and merit list for their reference.


Admission of a candidate to a government or private ITI college will be entirely based on written test scores, merit list and counselling results. Also, candidates must ensure that they have paid required fees and there is no discrepancy in document verification.
