The Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan has issued the notification for admission to the first year of B.E., B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses for the academic year 2020-21 through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP-2020). The non-refundable registration fee of Rs.250/- has to be paid online. The State Level Fee Committee may finalize the fee structure for the courses for the session 2020-21 and students must pay the fee as prescribed, availing of a refund if needed as per AICTE norms.
Students from the State of Rajasthan as well as from outside the State can register and fill in the online application form to seek admission to a B.E., B.Tech. and B.Arch. courses in Government and Government-aided engineering colleges as well as autonomous colleges, self-financed colleges and private colleges. These include the colleges that are affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, and Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner as well as the MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur under JNVU Jodhpur, and the CTAE Engineering College, Udaipur under MPUAT, Udaipur.Eligibility requirements
There is no age limit for any of the courses but it is required to be medically fit. Accordingly, you need to deposit the Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format at the allotted college on getting the seat, the certificate to be certified by a Medical Officer of the Government of Rajasthan as per the standards required (refer to the official brochure to know the acceptable medical standards).
The educational qualifications required to be eligible for the first year of the courses have been mentioned below.For B.E. and B.Tech. courses
You should have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of these subjects – Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, a Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. In the qualifying exam, you should have scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects taken together.
An optional acceptable qualification is to pass a Diploma exam in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) but only if there are seats vacant for the first year of the course, in case the vacancies through lateral entry are exhausted.For B.Arch. courses
You should have passed the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate and also a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 exam. An optional acceptable qualification is to pass the 10+3 Diploma exam with Maths as a compulsory subject and scored a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate (45% marks for reserved category candidates). It is also required to have a valid NATA 2020 or/and NTA score through JEE Main 2020 for B. Arch. Course.
General notes: The marks obtained in Class 12th (Science) will be given higher priority compared to the Diploma marks. Registration and application for REAP 2020 should be done online.
The application cum registration fee of Rs 250/- has to made online through Net banking or using a Debit card or a Credit card. Once the fee is paid, note down the transaction number as this will be required in case there is any failure in the online payment process. Next, you can proceed to fill up the application form for REAP 2020 and upload the required documents, including a recent passport size colour photo (maximum 100KB) and signature (maximum 500KB) in JPG format. You can edit and correct or update any information in the application form before clicking on the submit button but before the closing date of submission. Finally, you can select the choice of college and save it or lock the choice. However, on locking, if later you wish to change it, you will need to cancel the application and submit a fresh online application.
On successful submission of the application, you should take a print out for future reference, but no hard copy should be sent to the Department's office. You must also keep a print out of the receipt of the application fee as this is required to be shown at the allotted college later.
Note: In case you wish to make an online application for more than one course, then you have to submit a separate application for each and pay the application fee separately for each.Important dates of REAP-2020 Schedule

The online application cum registration begins on 30th July 2020 and ends on 21st August 2020. The last date to pay the online application-cum-registration fee of Rs. 250/- is 20th August 2020.

The online application-cum-registration begins on 21st September 2020 and ends on 5th October 2020. The last date to pay the online application cum registration fee of Rs. 250/- is 3rd October 2020.

Students must visit the official website of REAP-2020 from time to time to get the latest information and updates about the admission schedule and allotment of seat.
On knowing the allotted college for the B.E., B.Tech. or B.Arch. course, you must report in person to the college as per the dates provided, otherwise, your seat will be cancelled. The admission itself will be provisional until the eligibility/enrollment certificate is issued by the concerned University. On reporting to the college, you must produce all original documents and certificates as well as the print out of the receipt of the registration-cum-application form fee and the provisional seat allotment letter generated online by the REAP-2020 website. The original documents will be returned by the college after the enrolment by the concerned University.
