About PES University
PES University Bangalore is a leading university in the state of Karnataka that provides avenues for higher education and research in a number of fields. The university, managed by the People's Education Society (PES), established its first institution in 1972. Ever since society has been currently managing more than 45 different programs in Karnataka and beyond. PES University has three campuses in Bangalore that offer various programs in disciplines as varied as technology, law, management, architecture, design and a few more. Of all its campuses, PES University Ring Road campus is the oldest and the most popular one offering a wide number of undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs. The other two campuses that are part of PES University are the Electronic City campus and the Hanumanth Nagar campus, the latter offering courses only in commerce and the pharma field.

The campuses of PES University are beautifully planned and the infrastructure available there are of international standard. They are of modern outlook and have a green ambience. Outstation students are provided with hostel facilities along with round the clock security and doctors on-call service. There are avenues for recreation as well as a modern cafeteria to look into the culinary needs of the students.
Among other facilities there are avenues for sports, cultural activities, tech activities as well as social activities like blood donation, spreading awareness about the environmental, taking classes for the poor, adopting government schools and a lot more. There are also various clubs at PES University that encourage the students to actively participate in various activities.
PESSAT
For admission to any program at PES University, the aspiring candidate need to appear for PESSAT, an entrance test at the all India level. The test is organised at various centres in the country and at different dates. The centres and the date of the tests can be accessed by visiting the admission page of PES University website. For applying for PESSAT, the candidates will have to first register their name for the same.
Other than PESSAT, there are a few other entrance tests too, on the basis of which admissions can be taken in PES University. These are KCET and other national level tests. For the postgraduate programs, one may apply through the scores of PGCET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, UCEED and GRE.

Registration for PESSAT is an online process. The candidate will have to visit the official website of PES University. Select your chosen program from the list. In the next page, provide the necessary details including your name, date of birth and most importantly your email address and mobile number. Click on the proceed button and the next page that displays in front of you is the personal details page. Fill the form with the necessary details, including your educational qualifications. Select the branch being sought under B.Tech and also the test centre for PESSAT, which in this case is only the Bangalore test centre. Further, you will have to upload the scanned copy of your passport size photograph. You will be the directed to the payment details page, where you can choose either online payment option or you may pay through demand draft.PESSAT Registration Fee payment
The registration fee is Rs 1050/- for each one of the program. However for the commerce and pharma courses that are only offered at the Hanumanth Nagar campus the registration fee is Rs 550/- per course.
In case you choose to pay through online mode, then the payment can be made through debit card, credit card and internet banking.
For demand drafts, the candidate has to draw the DD in favour of 'PES University General Fund' payable at Bangalore. The demand draft details are to be entered in the online application form before final submission. The demand draft, on the other hand, has to be sent along with a printed copy of the submitted application to the address given below.
