Introduction Andhra University was established in the year 1926. Former President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was one of its Vice-Chancellors who succeed Dr C. R. Reddy in 1931. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation council has given "A" rank to this university. The University has well experienced and expert faculty. Many professors are well known worldwide for their research contributions. There are 354 Professors, 198 Associate Professors and 115 Asst. Professors in the University. Andhra University campus offers 17 undergraduate and 35 postgraduate programmes, besides research on par with technical institutions worldwide. This is the first university in the country to design and implement ISO systems and get the certification. The University offers PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programme in various subjects including Sciences, social science and engineering and management also.

The candidate has to download the same. The candidate has to take a hard copy of the application form and fill the same in his own handwriting. Rs.800/ as the application fee is to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, The Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University, on any Nationalised Bank. The candidate should mention the name and the programme for which he is applying on the backside of the DD. The application fee is Rs,500/- for SC/ST candidates. The application should be sent in duplicate. If a candidate is applying for more than one course, separate applications should be made and submitted.
