National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Gorakhpur which is an extension centre of NIELIT Lucknow, offers training courses under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The institute has announced the schedule for employment-oriented online training-cum-internship programs for engineering graduates. Students who have passed Class 12 or are currently pursuing a graduate program are also eligible to enroll for a few of the online courses.

The instructors are highly qualified and you will get access to the course content through the e-learning portal of NIELIT Gorakhpur. Facility for a virtual lab may also be provided. The course coordinator may conduct a daily online quiz/assessment session and a final test will be scheduled on the last day. A Certificate will be provided at the end of the course, but this will be if there is a minimum of 75% attendance and minimum 50% marks scored in the online test that is conducted at the end of the course.
Registration for any of the courses has to be done online only. Prior to enrolling for the course, check the technical requirements, fee (this includes GST and is non-refundable) and schedule carefully. Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. (Any Branch), 3-Year Diploma (Computer Science / Electronics/ IT), NIELIT O/A Level, Graduate in Science or Commerce or Statistics/Mathematics.

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop ideally with 4 GB RAM or above and Internet speed of preferably 2 Mbps or higher. Software required: Python IDLE, Jupiter & Spider.
Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. in any branch, 3-year Diploma, BCA, MCA, NIELIT O/A Level, 10+2 with knowledge of programming language or equivalent.

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with minimum of 2 GB RAM and Internet speed of preferably 2 Mbps or higher. A Graphics Card (2 GB) and Arduino IDE software is also a necessity.

This course is for 80 hours, for five weeks and two days.
Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with minimum of 2 GB RAM and Internet connectivity. Software required: Open Source Operating System (Ubuntu 16.04 or above); Open Source Office Package (Libre Office 06.10 or above).
Eligibility: There is no minimum eligibility. Anyone keen to learn about computer concepts, such as the basics of Word Processing, Operating software, computer networks, browsers, social media platforms, properties of a Mouse, etc are welcome to join this online course.

You can register for each course separately through the 'Apply' button at the NIELIT registration portal for online courses and upload the relevant documents. You need to submit the fee for the course online and the seat for the particular course will be confirmed on successful payment of the fee. The fee can be paid using ATM-Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. On successful payment for the course, take a print out of the transaction receipt for future reference.
Note that once you deposit the fee, it will not be refunded, so before applying, you should ensure that you are very clear about which course you wish to learn online. You must also be ready to join up for the e-class at the scheduled time and for the full duration of the course.
