Overview of the courses

The instructors are highly qualified and you will get access to the course content through the e-learning portal of NIELIT Gorakhpur. Facility for a virtual lab may also be provided. The course coordinator may conduct a daily online quiz/assessment session and a final test will be scheduled on the last day. A Certificate will be provided at the end of the course, but this will be if there is a minimum of 75% attendance and minimum 50% marks scored in the online test that is conducted at the end of the course.

Registration for any of the courses has to be done online only. Prior to enrolling for the course, check the technical requirements, fee (this includes GST and is non-refundable) and schedule carefully. Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with minimum 2 GB RAM and a stable Internet connection with good speed.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. (Any Branch), 3-Year Diploma (Computer Science / Electronics/ IT), NIELIT O/A Level, Graduate in Science or Commerce or Statistics/Mathematics.

Fee: Rs. 2,450/-.

Artificial Intelligence

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop ideally with 4 GB RAM or above and Internet speed of preferably 2 Mbps or higher. Software required: Python IDLE, Jupiter & Spider.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. in any branch, 3-year Diploma, BCA, MCA, NIELIT O/A Level, 10+2 with knowledge of programming language or equivalent.

Fee: Rs. 2,450/-.

Internet of Things (IOT)

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with minimum of 2 GB RAM and Internet speed of preferably 2 Mbps or higher. A Graphics Card (2 GB) and Arduino IDE software is also a necessity.

Eligibility: 10+2 passed with basic knowledge of any programming language.

Fee: Rs. 2,450/-.

Certificate Course in Network Administration

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with ideally 4 GB RAM or higher and Internet speed of preferably 2 Mbps or higher. A Graphics Card (2 GB) and Windows and Linux Operating System like Windows10, CentOS is required as well.
Eligibility: 10+2, M.Sc./B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science/Electronics), B.E./B.Tech. M.C.A., or equivalent of any of these.

Fee: Rs.2,000/-.

Course on Computer Concepts (CCC)

This course is for 80 hours, for five weeks and two days.
Technical requirements: You should have a computer or a laptop with minimum of 2 GB RAM and Internet connectivity. Software required: Open Source Operating System (Ubuntu 16.04 or above); Open Source Office Package (Libre Office 06.10 or above).

Eligibility: There is no minimum eligibility. Anyone keen to learn about computer concepts, such as the basics of Word Processing, Operating software, computer networks, browsers, social media platforms, properties of a Mouse, etc are welcome to join this online course.

Fee: Rs. 1,200/-.

Big Data Using Hadoop

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with preferably 16 GB RAM and OS of 64bit. The Internet speed should be ideally 2 Mbps or higher. Software: Notepad, JDK, Eclipse 64 Bit, Cloudera Hadoop.

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech., M.Sc.(IT/Computer Science), MCA, BCA, PGDCA, DOEACC A, B level, Three Years Diploma in Computer Science.

Fee: Rs.1,200/-.

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with 4 GB RAM or higher and Internet speed of minimum 2 Mbps or higher. A Graphics Card of 2 GB with Notepad/Notepad++ Editor and a Web browser is also required.

Eligibility: You should have passed 10 +2 with basic knowledge of computers.

Fee: Rs.1,000/-.

DSP using MATLAB

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with Core i3 or above processor or higher, at least 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 2 GB, and Internet speed of minimum 2 Mbps or higher.

Eligibility: Diploma, B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech., BCA/MCA, M.Sc./B.Sc in IT/CS/Electronics/Electrical/ Instrumentation or equivalent of any of these.

Fee: Rs. 1,600/-.

AutoCAD (Computer-Aided Design)

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with at least 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 2 GB, and Internet speed of minimum 2 Mbps or higher. Software: AutoCAD-2018 student's version (you can download this for free from - https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/autocad).

Eligibility: You should have completed or are currently pursuing a Diploma or B.Sc./M.Sc./ B.E./B.Tech.

Ethical Hacking & Information Security

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with ideally 4 GB RAM or higher, Graphics Card (2 GB) and Internet connectivity with 2 Mbps or higher speed.

Eligibility: You should have completely or are currently pursuing B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. (IT/CS), BCA or 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in CS/IT Or O-Level/ Graduate (in any stream) with working knowledge of computers as well as the Operating System (OS).

Object Oriented Programming with C++

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop with at least 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 2 GB, and minimum 2Mbps Internet speed. Software: C++ Compiler like Dev C++.

Eligibility: 12th/Polytechnic Diploma/ B.E. passed or pursuing it, and have knowledge of C-Language.

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop loaded with 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 1 GB, and minimum 2Mbps Internet speed.

Eligibility: Diploma/B. Sc./B.Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation (eith completed or currently pursuing).

Fee: Rs. 1,100/-.

Advance Java

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop loaded with 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 2 GB, and minimum 2Mbps Internet speed. Software: notepad, JDK, ECLIPSE IDE

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech. /BCA/MCA (students currently pursuing these can also apply) with basic knowledge of any programming language.

Verilog Programming

Eligibility: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/BCA/M.Sc./B.Sc./BCA/MCA/3-year Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/ Instrumentation/Computer Science (students currently pursuing any of these courses can also apply).

VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) Design using CADENCE Tool

Technical requirements: You should have a computer or laptop loaded with 4 GB RAM, a Graphics Card of 2 GB, and minimum 2Mbps Internet speed.

Eligibility: B. Tech. in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation (completed or pursuing).

Fee: Rs. 1,100/-.

Start date and time: 14th September 2020, 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Registration procedure

You can register for each course separately through the 'Apply' button at the NIELIT registration portal for online courses and upload the relevant documents. You need to submit the fee for the course online and the seat for the particular course will be confirmed on successful payment of the fee. The fee can be paid using ATM-Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. On successful payment for the course, take a print out of the transaction receipt for future reference.

Note that once you deposit the fee, it will not be refunded, so before applying, you should ensure that you are very clear about which course you wish to learn online. You must also be ready to join up for the e-class at the scheduled time and for the full duration of the course. Hence, it is advisable to check the course brochure to know what are the modules and check the eligibility criteria, duration and timings of each.
