Introduction In the early years, the Toc H international was founded by Tubby Clayton an army chaplain during the First World War. The Words 'T' and 'H' was used as signaler's code for giving refugee for wounded soldiers. The Toc H Indian movement started in the year 1972. At first, it started as charitable services for leprosy and TB patients and also for helping orphanages, mentally retarded children. Toc H entered into the educational field thus providing good schools and institute like Toc H Institute of Science and Technology, Arakunnam.
Facilities of College The college provides B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA full-time programs. A new Research wing has been developed under the banner JC Center for Advanced Studies and Research. The college is affiliated to AICTE and approved by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. An Applied Psychology and Counselling department has been developed for taking care of the overall mental health of the students. Students are encouraged to take part in sports and extracurricular activities. Campus placement is done for each batch and more than 360 job offers are made in the college. The college is educating students to furnish in all overall development of candidate rather than merely seeking for a job. There are safe hostels for boys and girls and can accommodate 700 inmates. SMART classrooms are provided with data projector, DVD unit and slide projector. Sick rooms are provided in each building block for taking care of students. For taking care of waste management, the waste bins are located on each side of the campus. Rain water harvesting is done in 24 acres of land and having a capacity of 10 to 15 lakhs of litres each.
Eligibility for B.Tech Under Government Quota The government quota seats are filled by Entrance Examination Commissioner and it is based on the KEAM 2020 rank. The code of the college in KEAM 2020 is TOC which is published by the commissioner of Entrance Examinations. The candidate must be an Indian National and must have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2020. There should be a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry in Plus two exam.
Eligibility for B.Tech under Management Quota The candidate must be an Indian National and must have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2020. There should be minimum 45 per cent in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Plus two exam. The candidates who are having high marks will be given the priority. The applicant must qualify for KEAM 2020 or in JEE2020.
Eligibility for B.Tech under NRI Quota The candidate must be an Indian National and must have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2020. For plus two 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The priority will be given to candidates who are having higher marks. The rank in KEAM2020 is not mandatory.
Eligibility for M.Tech The eligibility for admission to M.Tech is through the Government of Kerala or APJ Abdul Kalam University guidelines. Candidate who are applying must have 60% marks in Undergraduation. GATE Score is important for admission.
Eligibility for MBA Candidate who has passed any degree with minimum 50% marks from a Institution or any University which is recognized by AICTE or UGC. The CAT, CMAT, KMAT Score, Performance in Interview and group discussion conducted in the college will be criteria for admission.
