Introduction
CMR University was established by the Jananadhara Trust in the year 1990. The founder of the college is Chikka Muniyappa Reddy who was a social reformer and also an educationalist. Since the last 27 years, CMR University has managed to excel in the education field and the trust supports all the activities done by the CMR institutions.
CMR University is situated has a 60-acre lakefront campus in North Bangalore. It was developed as a greenfield project developed as per the LEED Green building standard certifications, easily accessible from Bellary Road and within the BDA limits. The campus has world-class amenities which includes a residential zone with staff and student housing. B.A, LLB (Hons)-Duration of the course is 5 years. Total fees for the program is 135,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is 45% in plus two or equivalent program and 40% for reserved category.
BBA, LLB (Hons)-Duration of the course is 5 years. Total fees for the program is 146,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is 45% in plus two or equivalent program and 40% per cent for reserved category.
B.Com, LLB (Hons)-Duration of the course is 5 years. Total fees for the program is 130,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is 45% in the undergraduate program and 40% for reserved candidates.
LLB (Hons)-Duration of the course is 3 years. Total fees for the program is 95,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is 45% in the undergraduate program and 40% for reserved candidates.
LLB, Constitutional Law-Duration of the course is 1 year. Total fees for the program is 115,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is a candidate who has passed LLB, 3 or 5 years course with a minimum of 45% from any recognized university in India or abroad and recognized by the UGC (min. 40% for candidates who belong to the reserved category)
LLB, Commercial Law-Duration of the course is 1 year. Total fees for the program is 115,000 per annum. Eligibility for the program is a candidate who has passed LLB with 3 or 5-year course with minimum45% from any recognized university and approved by UGC, and 40% min. for reserved category.
How to apply for the programs
Those who wish to take admission to the above-mentioned program must submit online applications. Candidate must select a user id and password for the entire process. How to apply for CMRUAT 2020
An aspiring candidate must register online for taking the CMRUAT 2020 exam.
A valid email and mobile number is needed for registration. The university will send important updates regarding the application and test on your mobile number and registered email. The email and mobile number need to be active till the end of admission process.
Candidates are requested to fill the registration form with care as candidates won't be able to edit the information later after submission
The application fee for the program is Rs.800 and the payment can be made online or offline. Candidates who wish to apply for the offline payment will need to send a demand draft of Rs. 800 and drawn in favour of CMR university which is payable at Bangalore with the application form downloaded after the registration process.
Before filling the online application form, candidates are requested to keep ready a scanned image, passport size photograph, not less than 80KB, signature not less than 80KB, and a Demand draft of Rs.750. These documents will be needed for uploading the online application for CMRUAT 2020.
Candidates who wish for offline payment need to send the printout of application form duly signed with DD of RS 800 through speed post or courier to the below-mentioned address. Candidates will be intimated about the test city, details of the centre and test date through SMS and 4 days in advance for printing admission hall ticket and to appear in test.
After the common entrance exam, the selected candidates will be called for personal counselling. Candidates selection will be based on CMRU regulations at the admission time as per academic merit and aptitude of the candidate. The successful candidates will be required to take the admission offer immediately.
