Introduction

College facilities
Separate hostel facilities for boys & girls are provided in the college. There is also an excellent library facility. How to Apply for B.Sc Nursing Admission 2020-2021
B.Sc nursing course is of 4 years.
The aspiring candidates must apply online for B.Sc Nursing course & the application is available on website www.nehrunursing.com. Candidates are requested to fill the form which includes Demand draft number or application fee of the online transaction details. RS 1000 is charged for DD and will be in favour of Nehru College of Nursing payable at Ottapalam. If the payment is debited and not guided to the second stage inform on info.nehru@gmail.com with the login details, email id or the mobile number. The college will provide help within 24 hrs.
Online application form will be considered only when the original DD or the online payment is submitted at the college office. Incomplete or delayed applications will not be considered. The last date for submitting the online application is August 30th, 2020.
The last date for submitting hard copy of application form with original DD, the online payment details & certified copies of SSLC, Plus two and Aadhar card copy must be submitted to the college office on or before August 31, 2020. Application form submitted after the mentioned cut off date will not be considered by the colleges. Original documents must be produced at the admission time.
According to Kerala university of health science, for admission to B.Sc nursing program the main eligibility is a minimum of 12 years school course or plus two examinations which are recognized by university or board with science and English as main subjects and with 50 per cent aggregate marks.
Merit list-For Management quota and NRI Quota
For the total 30 seats, 21 seats will be filled through the management and from the online applications on merit list prepared and also the marks obtained in the qualifying examination in core subjects as mentioned in eligibility criteria.
If there is any tie in the total marks, biology marks will count. Still, if there is any tie then the marks in physics and chemistry will be counted. Still if any tie exists, then the age of the applicant will be considered and the person who is elder will be given preference over the younger one.
Merit list published will be valid till 31-12-2020 or up to the date when the merit list is kept alive in terms of instruction or direction of the competent authority.
Inclusion in the merit list will not count for eligibility of admission unless the applicant satisfies the rules according to admission eligibility and other conditions laid in the prospectus.
Giving false information will result in cancellation of admission to the course and also attract the related provision of criminal law.
Selected candidates will be informed through email, phone or through SMS in registered mobile number which is provided in the application.
Students should pay all fees for 1st year of the course at admission time and this will not be refunded at any circumstances.
The fees approved by Govt of Kerala or by the admission supervisory as follows- Tuition fee-63,500RS Special fee-7,000RS Caution deposit-70,000RS which is refundable. For NRI candidates, tuition fee-95000 per annum.

SSLC or any other school record of applicant to prove his or her date of birth.
Equivalence or eligibility certificate obtained from university of kerala of health science for candidates who have passed qualifying examination from authorities other kerala state, ISCE or CBSE.
Physical fitness certificate in the prescribed format which is obtained from a medical officer in government service and not below the rank of assistant medical officer.
Conduct or course certificate from the institution where last attended.
Transfer certificate from the institution where last attended.
Certificate or document required for any proof of benefit claimed in application for reservation.

Sponsor certificate.
Sponsor passport and a attested copy of it.
Attested copy of relevant page of passport where employment visa is stamped and if it is not submitted, then duly attested by indian embassy of consulate is needed.
Relationship certificate from tahasildar or village officer.
