About Sharda University Noida

Sharda University in Greater Noida is a leading university established through an act of Uttar Pradesh State Legislature. The global university provides international education and research facilities, having academic partnerships with more than 250 foreign universities, with students from more than 85 countries pursuing the over 200 programs in several disciplines. Several big projects with MSME, DRDO, DST, USAID and INSA are also running in the university. What is SUAT?

SUAT stands for Sharda University Admission Test. It is a national level entrance test for admission to around 216 programmes of diverse disciplines offered by Sharda University. This SUAT is conducted to identify the talented students and their eligibility for the programs that they have applied for.

Admissions Open Under SUAT

Several courses are open for admission at Sharda University.
  1. Undergraduate Programmes
    B.Tech, B.Com, B.Ed., BBA, BCA, B.Des, BJMC, B.Arch.

  2. Post-graduate Programmes
    M.Tech, M.Com, M.Ed., MBA, MCA, M.Des, MJMC, M.Arch, MD, MS, MDS programmes

  3. Other Programmes
    Nursing, Pharma, Allied Health Sciences, Agriculture and Language

Eligibility Requirements

For Undergraduate Programmes
  1. For admission in under-graduate programmes, the applicant must have passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 level from any of the recognized boards of India. Applicant must be proficient in English Communication.
  2. To get admission in any undergraduate programme at Sharda University, the applicants must attain the age of 17 years on 31st December of the academic year of admission.
  3. In the case of foreign nationals, they need to submit a certificate equivalent to Class 12th examination of the country. They also meet the equivalence criteria of 'Association of Indian University'.

For Post-graduate Programmes
  1. Admission seekers who wish to join post-graduate programmes must hold a graduate degree from any recognized university in India.
  2. The candidates appeared in the final year exam in 2020 of qualifying degree are also eligible to apply for admission to Post-Graduate programme.
  3. In the case of foreign nationals, they need to submit a degree equivalent to graduation degree of the country. They also meet the equivalence criteria of 'Association of Indian University'.

Note: The University may conduct GD/PI before the final admission to judge the capability of a candidate.

How to Apply for SUAT Application?

Application for SUAT can be filled through a 3-step procedure -
Step 1
The candidate must visit the official website of Sharda University to fill the application form.

Step 2
The programme and/or specialization is to be selected. Then the user ID and password are generated. The candidate must note this user ID and password because it will be required during the time of online exam (SUAT- 2020). The payment of Application Fee i.e. INR 1200 is then to be made.

Step 3
The candidate will receive an 'Application Number' on the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.

Booking of SUAT Exam Slot

  • After the receipt of the application fee, the University will send the confirmation information to Exam AT.
  • Exam AT will activate the Online Examination Booking System (OEBS) for the applicant.
  • Now, the candidate can choose the SUAT exam date, time and exam centre from the available options provided in the Online Examination Booking System (OEBS).

Note: The candidates may also appear for the test with no prior booking at the University Campus.

Admit Card Download

  • After the booking of SUAT exam schedule on OBES, the candidate can download the admit card for appearing in the entrance exam. All the details like date, time and exam centre will also be printed on this admit card.
  • The applicant must attach a recent passport size photograph on this online generated admit card and carry two copies of it to the examination centre.
  • During the examination, the candidate should also carry the original Photo ID and computer-generated SUAT application fee receipt deposited while submitting an online application. If any candidate cannot produce these documents, he/she may not sit in the exam.
  • One copy of the admission card/hall ticket will be kept at the exam centre after checking by the Proctor. These hall tickets will be sent to Sharda University for verification/validation at the time of Personal Interview.

Last Date: 31st August 2020.

Education Loan Assistance

Sharda University supports talented and deserving students in their studies and provides financial assistance so they can also get higher education despite financial shortcomings. Sharda University assists students to avail education loan from the banks easily and speedily. Many reputed banks are offering education loan like SBI, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank etc. To get an education loan, the candidate must take an offer letter from the University for loan purpose. However, all the responsibilities and liability of obtaining sanction from bank and loan repayment will be of the students and their parents.
