Rajagiri School of engineering and technology, Kakkanad is an educational institution offering engineering education and research. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Trivandrum, Kerala and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Managed by the sacred heart province of CMI congregation, the college is a part of Rajagiri Vidyapeetham, a dream which is done through the continuous efforts of CMI to provide excellent education and there is a network of centres and institutions which gives quality education from pre-primary to doctoral programmes and giving more specializations to pursue the student's dreams. Rajagiri school of engineering and technology is having a newly constructed multi-purpose auditorium with a seating capacity is about 2500 people. The auditorium is utilized for international conferences, staging performing arts and musical concerts.
The campus has separate accommodation for boys and girls and resident tutors are assigned to understand the welfare of the students. A bus facility is provided for residents of the girl from hostel to college. The accommodation is for one year only and each year a separate application form has to be submitted for getting the selection to the hostel.
The college provides comfortable bus transportation facilities for staff and students to a number of areas and around 20 buses are provided for comfortable transportation.
There is a centre for network and information technology support services cell, where all the campus network and networked services are managed. There is also a software development unit and the Sunya lab established in 2017 is a high-performance computing laboratory, cloud computing and fab lab. There is an innovation and entrepreneurship development centre as well for designing and developing new innovative products of social importance. This is to create an entrepreneurial system among students, alumni and faculty members. For the college merit, registration can be submitted only after getting the KEAM 2020 score and it is yet to be published. The candidate enter other details and save it. 50 per cent of seats will be from the rank list published by DTE. The candidates need to apply online to DTE and also they have to apply online to the college. The admission will be done on the basis of merit which is published by DTE. The application fee can be paid through debit, credit card or internet banking. Don't send the certificates or documents to the college. All the candidates must upload their photo during the online application process. All details entered in the application must be verified along with the original documents during the time of admission.
