About IIFT
IIFT or Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is Deemed to be University under the Commerce Ministry, Govt. of India. An autonomous institute set up in 1963 by the government, it has helped in revolutionising the foreign trade business and management in India. It has been in the forefront of developing human resources for the country's ever increasing exports and imports business. For building such resources, IIFT, from time to time offers a number of short term and long term courses in international business and allied fields. It has two campuses, IIFT Kolkata campus and IIFT New Delhi campus. Both the campuses provide on campus as well as online learning programs. The current short term course in Certificate Program in Export Import Management is an online program, the details of which are enumerated below. Currently, IIFT is also offering Post Graduate Certificate Program in International Business & Finance, a 13 months long PG Certificate program.

Graduation in any stream from a recognised university or college. Diploma holders with two years of work experience can also apply.Selection process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the course on the basis of their profile, educational qualification and work experiences, if any. If required, the institute will conduct online interviews for final shortlisting.
How to apply
To apply for the certificate program the candidates will have to visit the official website of IIFT. Right where the program is listed, you will find the link for applying online. On clicking the link, you are led to a page, where you will have to first register yourself by providing your email id and mobile number. You are then provided with an online application form where you can input all necessary details about your qualification, job experience and personal details. There are no application fee as such. The course fee is to be paid only after you are shortlisted for the course.Program structure

As can be seen from the above range of topics that will be part of the course curriculum, the program focuses on building knowledge on various aspects of export and import management. The classes for the above programs are completely online and can be accessed from anywhere with a working internet connection and a laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile. The sessions will be live and there will be two-way interaction between the participants and the faculty. The participants will be able to raise doubts and answer questions asked by the faculty. The sessions will also be recorded and will be available for the participant to access them till 48 hours. They will also have lifetime access to the learning web portal, course materials and useful documents. Most of the study materials, powerpoint presentations and case studies will be provided to the participants through online mode. However, some of the text books will be send through courier (to addresses within India).Examination & Attendance
There will be internals as well as a final examination. The exams will be conducted online. Participants will have to score at least 50% or more marks in each one of the subject in the final exam for successful completion of the course and getting awarded with the certificate. Participants should have attended at least 70% of the online sessions, before they will be allowed to sit for the final exam.
