The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad has issued the admission notification for its six Post Graduate Diploma in Management courses for the academic session 20202-21. A laptop will be provided to every student who gets enrolled in any of the PGDM courses.

At the outset it should be pointed out that if you have not appeared for any management admission test, you must register for one and appear for it as this is one of the eligibility requirements for all the PGDM programs, including for the Executive PGDM program. The test could be any of these - CAT, XAT, CMAT, AIMA-MAT, ATMA, or GMAT. Learn how you can take the AIMA-MAT test online from home.
Educational Qualification: You must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. (45% is the minimum requirement for SC, ST and PC candidates), from a UGC-recognized university/deemed university recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
For the Executive PGDM program, executives with a Graduate degree in any discipline (or equivalent qualification) from a recognized University can apply. They must also have a minimum of three years of full time post-qualification professional experience.IPE PGDM Courses
Post Graduate Diploma in Management – General
During this two-year PGDM you learn the fundamentals of finance, marketing and HR management in the first three semesters of the first year. During the second year, you can opt for two electives from Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Systems, Business Analytics and Operations. There will be a term project at the end of each of the three semesters of this second year and at the end of the last semester, there is an internship of two months. Post-Graduate Diploma in Management – Banking Insurance and Financial Service
This two-year PGDM, introduced about 12 years ago at IPE, focuses on market orientation, globalization, as well as financial and banking insurance aspects. Electives are in the fifth semester with dual specialization and an opportunity for an international industrial visit may also be arranged in the second year. Post-Graduate Diploma in Management – International Business
This two-year PGDM combines the essentials of an MBA program with subjects relevant to the international business scenario, such as international trade operations, global supply chain management, foreign currency management, etc. You can opt two of these specialization streams during the second year of the course – Marketing, Finance, Operations, Systems/IT, Human Resource Management, and Business Analytics. There is also the option (with additional cost) to go on a study tour abroad of commercial ports, such as in Singapore and Malaysia, and in India as well, at the Chennai, Mumbai, or Vizag ports.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Management – Marketing
This two-year PGDM incorporates interesting learning sessions related to Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Analytics and other subjects that are in sync with today's contemporary scenario in the world of marketing management. There's even a 'Design Thinking' workshop scheduled in the third semester of the first year.Post-Graduate Diploma in Management – Human Resource Management
This two-year PGDM has 22 of its 36 papers solely centred on HR with regular industrial visits, lectures by visiting experts from the industry, workshops, etc. The curriculum of the PGDM-HR has been updated to included exciting subjects such as SAP-HR, Workforce Metrics, Competency Mapping and Assessment, etc.Executive Post-Graduate Diploma in Management
This PGDM may seem to be a very short one of 15 months, but is actually a very compact, comprehensive one that incorporates cybersecurity, digital marketing, risk management, corporate governance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). You also get involved in team-based and skill-development activities.

The first year fee is Rs. 4,55,000/- and the second year fee is Rs. 3,60,000/-. For the Executive PGDM program, the total course fee is Rs. 3,80,000/-.

A scholarship of Rs. 60,000 will be awarded to the top-ranked student among the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Muslim minority candidates in the eligible admission tests.
In case you are a recipient of a Corporate scholarship or any other scholarship, then you cannot avail of any of the merit scholarships. How to apply for IPE PGDM programs
The first step, as mentioned at the beginning of this article, is to register for any of the recognized management admission entrance tests. The second step is to apply for admission to the IPT PGDM course at the official IPE admissions portal .
Finally, if you are shortlisted, then appear for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to be held at IPE Hyderabad and in major cities.Application procedure for international students
A Foreign Nationals (FN), a Person of Indian Origin (PIO), an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWG) are also welcome to apply at the official website with a registration fee of US$15. These international students should have at least 50% marks in Graduation from a recognized institution or university of their resident country. The degree should be awarded by a college/institute university which recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or other appropriate authorities. They must also have an excellent academic track record. Preference will be given to students with a valid GMAT score. A Skype interview will be scheduled for shortlisted candidates.
Course fee for international students: US$23,000 (INR 14,50,000, whichever is highest). This includes a caution money deposit of US$500 and covers tuition fee, reading materials, facilities like the library, computer lab, gym, etc and hostel accommodation and food.
